I’ve been visiting Dr. Ho Canxiang, and he’s an excellent doctor, very polite, attentive, and professional. The clinic staff are also extremely friendly and supportive, making every visit smooth and pleasant. The clinic itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained. I also love that you can use their 1doc mobile app to manage almost everything easily. Overall, a very good clinic with great service and care.

Did my health screening at the Bedok clinic recently. The consulting doctor (I believe Dr Ho) was meticulous, professional & I had one of the smoothest blood-drawing experiences. Unfortunately, the front-desk service by one of the clinic assistants was very disappointing. As she didn’t wear a name tag, I apologise for having to identify her by her nationality – a young Malaysian lady. From the outset, she was curt and brusque, insisting that I present my corporate employee ID despite my explaining that payment & verification had already been completed via the 1doc app. I did not have my physical card with me nor access to my work email at the time. The corporate package included a complimentary flu vaccine, but due to an apparent backend issue with the company code selection, she insisted that I call the 1doc corporate screening hotline and put my phone on speaker for her to speak directly to her own colleague. She even told me bluntly that “we are trying to help you”. This felt very unprofessional and inappropriate. I did not push back as I did not want to further delay the screening, especially as I had been fasting. During the eye test, her manner remained rude & instructions were unclear. When I struggled to understand one of the test printouts, her response was dismissive rather than helpful. This level of front-desk service was in stark contrast to the excellent care provided by the consulting doctor.

I would like to commend the doctors at 1 DOC Medical Centre Heartbeat @ Bedok for their high level of professionalism and genuine care. They take time to explain clearly and always make my visits reassuring. Special Thanks to Dr Ho & Dr Mok. That said, I believe the service at the reception counter could be improved to match the standard set by the doctors. A more welcoming and patience helpful approach would enhance the overall patient experience. Still, the doctors themselves deserve recognition for their outstanding care.
