About 1TCM
1TCM is a confinement food catering service operating islandwide from its base at Velocity@Novena Square. It has been verified by KakiList and holds a 5/5 rating across 151 Google reviews — a robust sample that reflects consistent customer satisfaction. Pricing is package-based, positioned in the mid-range ($$) for Singapore's confinement meal market. No ACRA registration has been confirmed, and no SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence appears on record, which prospective customers should clarify directly before placing an order.
When enquiring, confirm the standard 28-day package — whether it covers two daily trays (lunch and dinner) or three (with breakfast added) — and check whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are included in the price or billed separately. 1TCM operates under a TCM-influenced postnatal philosophy, so it is worth clarifying the dietary tradition (Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, or otherwise), whether the menu rotates day-to-day, and if adjustments can be made for breastfeeding mothers requiring lower-spice or rice-wine-free options. Shorter trial or partial packages (7-day or 14-day) may be available — ask about these before committing to the full 28-day commitment. Confirm the twice-daily delivery windows and whether a delivery surcharge applies to your address.
Contact 1TCM via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to request a trial meal or a full package quotation before paying any deposit.
Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.
Last week was my first time visiting this TCM clinic. The therapist who massaged me was Erica, and her technique was excellent. I felt very comfortable and completely relaxed. The manager Kelly and the receptionist Yiyi explained everything in great detail and never pressured me to buy anything. The overall experience here was fantastic. I’ve already booked my next appointment. Highly recommended.
I came to see Dr. Ma because of the great reviews, and she truly lived up to them. She is gentle, engaging, and very accurate in her diagnosis. I also had digestive tui na with Erica, who is absolutely amazing. After the massage, I felt so much relief and the bloating was instantly gone. Highly recommend! Currently still continuing my weekly visit
I have a positive experience with physician ma and rong rong. Physician ma: conditioning of cycle and with just 1 week of medication and 1 time acupuncture, she managed to bring forward my ovulation by 10 days. 10 days! I was shocked. That means my cycle got shortened back to normal to 29 days. Thumbs up. Rong rong: very nice lady with skills. I did facial bojin and she will always top up some quick massage release of my tight muscles, sometimes shoulders. Not pushy at all, very professional. I also did ovary massage and it feels very warm on my tummy and lower back. I bought a package with them since I am looking for tcm conditioning.
Great for Tuina, highly recommend Rong Rong who was skilled and professional. Her massages were effective and able to relief pain. She is also friendly and helpful! Acupuncture by Doctor Ma was also highly effective, 2 sessions and I could start feeling my joint pain subside.
My husband and I had been trying for about six months without success, so we decided to go for a full health check. The results showed that my prolactin and TSH levels were a little high, and my husband’s sperm quality wasn’t ideal. We then visited Physician Ma from 1TCM to help us regulate our bodies. When I first met her, she confidently told me, “After taking my medicine for two to three months, I’ll make sure you have a baby born in the year of horse!" 😄 I started taking her herbs, and by the third month, I honestly felt like giving up — the fourth batch was very bitter, and carrying the herbs around was such a hassle since I needed to find a cup and hot water each time. But to my surprise, not long after that, I found out I was pregnant! 💖 Alongside the herbs, I also went for Highlander Fertility womb massage. By my third or fourth session, I discovered I was pregnant. The massage was super comfortable, and a few days after each session, I noticed more clear, egg-white-like discharge — a good sign that my body was responding well. I’m really thankful for both Physician Ma and Highlander Fertility for helping me through this journey. If you’re trying to conceive, don’t give up — your time will come too. 🌸

1TCM prices its packages at a mid-range ($$) level. Across the Singapore market, a standard 28-day confinement meal package typically runs S$1,200–2,800 depending on the number of trays per day, the dietary tradition, and whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are bundled in or charged separately. Shorter 7-day or 14-day trial packages are often available at a proportional rate and are worth requesting before committing to the full 28 days. Confirm whether a delivery surcharge applies to your address, particularly for landed properties or locations outside the central region. See the full confinement food cost guide for Singapore →
1TCM is rooted in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) postnatal principles, which typically align with a warming, Cantonese-style approach — ginger, sesame oil, herbal broths, and ingredients selected to support recovery and lactation. Before paying a deposit, confirm which tradition the menus follow, how frequently the daily menu rotates, and whether adjustments are available for breastfeeding mothers who prefer low-spice or rice-wine-free dishes. Most reputable confinement caterers offer a single-day trial meal at around S$30–60, and this is strongly recommended — confinement appetite shifts daily and personal taste matters considerably over a 28-day period. Ask 1TCM directly about trial meal availability before committing.
A legitimate confinement food operation holds an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence with a hygiene grade — A is the highest, followed by B, C, and D. No SFA licence has been confirmed for 1TCM in the information currently available on KakiList, so prospective customers should ask 1TCM directly for the licence number and current hygiene grade before placing an order. Confinement meals are typically cooked on the day and delivered hot in BPA-free, microwave-safe containers within a roughly 4-hour window from preparation to doorstep. Confirm 1TCM's twice-daily delivery time slots, packaging type, and the substitute or refund policy in the event a delivery is missed. If halal certification is relevant to your household, request the MUIS certificate number — this should appear on packaging if held. Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.
