About A Medical Clinic

About A Medical Clinic

A Medical Clinic is a general practice located at 722 Ang Mo Kio Ave 8, #01-2831, serving residents in Ang Mo Kio and the surrounding areas. The clinic is KakiList-verified and holds a 4.5/5 rating across 31 Google reviews, which is a moderate sample size. No regulatory licences have been confirmed in the listing data, so prospective patients are advised to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration directly before booking.

For a first visit, patients typically walk in or call ahead to check queue times. A GP consultation covers acute illness, chronic disease follow-up, minor injuries, repeat prescriptions, and referrals to specialist outpatient clinics where needed. Patients managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or lipid disorders may be eligible for the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows MediSave withdrawal of up to S$700 per year for outpatient treatment of listed conditions. Integrated Shield Plan holders should confirm whether the clinic is a panel provider under their insurer to minimise out-of-pocket costs.

To make an appointment or check current waiting times, contact A Medical Clinic by phone or via the enquiry form listed on this page.

I brought my mother to the doctor to have her ingrown toenail checked. Due to high blood pressure, my mum fainted at the clinic. I am thankful to the doctor and staff for helping, attending to my mum immediately, measuring her blood pressure, offering her hot drink, before we sent her to hospital. Thank you for the care and assistance rendered.

I went to the clinic for a partial avulsion of a toe nail. Dr Mohan was very professional and explained the procedure to remove the nail in a very simplified manner that I could understand easily. He was very reassuring and empathetic. He also provided very clear after-care instructions. I underwent the procedure with no pain, giving me a good experience. Hence I highly recommend Dr Mohan.

I would like to give feedback regarding your clinic’s closing time listed on Google. It shows that your clinic closes at 8:00 PM, but when I arrived at 7:30 PM, the clinic was already closed. This caused inconvenience as I planned my visit based on the information online. Please update the operating hours on Google to reflect the accurate closing time so that other patients will not face the same issue. Thank you for your attention.

Visited An Medical clinic in the evening for a persistent cough. I found the clinic very pleasant, comfortable and feels fresh and clean. The receptionist was also very helpful and friendly, helping me to sort out some Cigna insurance coverage queries. Doctor was also warm and gentle. Thank you An Medical for taking care of your patients.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does A Medical Clinic charge?

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with follow-up visits sometimes lower. Common add-ons billed separately include investigations such as blood panels (S$60–200), throat or nasal swabs, urinalysis, and X-rays (S$80–150), as well as prescription medications. GST applies on private medical services. For patients with a polyclinic or GP referral letter to a public hospital specialist outpatient clinic (SOC), subsidised fees run S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens, though non-urgent waits of 4–12 weeks are common. Any planned procedure should be accompanied by a written financial counselling estimate splitting insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions. Is A Medical Clinic MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; you can search by name to confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. No licences have been confirmed in the current listing data for A Medical Clinic. Patients are strongly advised to verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC registration before booking. Neither verification alone is sufficient — both should be confirmed.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at A Medical Clinic?

MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment of chronic conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions, up to S$700 per year. For general outpatient use outside CDMP, the MediSave 500 limit applies (S$500/year). These withdrawals are subject to the clinic being an accredited CDMP provider. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient stays and day surgery rather than routine GP visits, though some plans include outpatient riders. Confirm pre-authorisation requirements with your insurer before any planned procedure. For any investigation or procedure with a significant cost, request a written itemised estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding.
