A Smiling Leash is a pet training provider operating islandwide across Singapore, listed on KakiList as a verified provider. When enquiring about training, it is worth sharing details about your pet's size, breed, and temperament upfront, as these factors can shape the training approach significantly. Bring or have ready your pet's vaccination records, and ask whether an initial trial or assessment visit is available before committing to a programme. Clarify whether sessions are conducted at your home, at a fixed location near Balestier Road, or on a mobile basis — and whether a recurring training schedule can be arranged once your pet's needs have been assessed.
To get started, reach out to A Smiling Leash via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form on their listing. Describe your pet's breed, age, and any specific behaviours you would like to address, and ask about available session slots and programme structure.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
Boarded my Pomsky Oreo with Offleash for 1.5 weeks, and it was one of the best decisions I have made for Oreo! Prior to the long stay, we tried a couple of daycare sessions, and Offleash was the only place where Oreo would come running out to greet me, and yet still want to go back in for more fun. The team took great care of Oreo during her long stay, even when she displayed separation anxiety on her first few nights. She came home looking well-rested and happy! Highly recommend Offleash if you are looking for a team who would take good care of your pup, and you want to feel at ease when you are overseas! Plus points for beautiful pictures of your pup as well! Would definitely engage them again!
SUPER RECOMMENDED. It's only been 3 days since I sent my English cocker spaniel of 7 months to day school at Offleash and I can see a difference with my big puppy 💕🐶! I've sent him to other established dog carers and Offleash has been my favourite and only choice now! They also send professional photos everyday and they are the best photos I've had of my pup 📸📸!!! They also have their in-house transport service so you feel secure. The best part is that my pup is socialized with other dogs that are okay with his temperament. My pups training is personalised and they are also okay with including other specific training that is not part of their curriculum but I, as the owner want my pup to learn. THANK YOU! 🙏🏻CCTV included too!
Offleash is really a one-stop shop for everything we need! From grooming to daycare to training, they covered all and they do it exceptionally well. The staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about the dogs. The grooming is top-notch and my pup always comes out looking and smelling fantastic. The training sessions have also been a game-changer and made a huge difference in her behavior. James the trainer is professional, patient, knowledgeable and really takes the time to tailor his approach to each dog's personality. Her behavior has improved so much, and I’ve learned a lot too! I’ve seen such positive changes, and I feel more confident as a dog owner thanks to his guidance. Off Leash has truly earned my trust. Highly recommend to any dog parent looking for a safe, friendly and professional place for their dog!
We are very fortunate to have found Offleash. As new dog owners finding a trustworthy day care/ boarding place seemed very daunting but Offleash has taken away all our worries. The staff is very caring and clearly loves all the doggies. We feel very comfortable to leave our dog at Offleash and she is always happy when she comes back home. The facilities are clean and the outdoor space is fantastic for the dogs to run around together.
We are happy that our frenchies's needs and limitations are considered when sending them to offleash. Our furkids are not morning people (wakes on an average of 10-11am) but when they hear the word "school", their eyes lit up and excited to wake up at 7am to eat breakfast and prepare for school. Everyone is happy on school days!

A Smiling Leash is positioned in the mid-range ($$) for pet training in Singapore, though specific per-session or package rates are not publicly listed. Pet training fees in Singapore typically vary by session format (individual vs group), the trainer's experience, and the complexity of the behaviour being addressed. When requesting a quote, confirm whether the rate covers a single session or a bundled programme, and ask about any additional costs for travel to your location if home-based training is offered. Also check whether materials, tools, or follow-up support are included in the quoted price. See the full Pet Training cost guide for Singapore →
For dog training services in Singapore, most providers require that dogs be current on core vaccinations, typically DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies, with proof of vaccination dated within the past 12 months. If your training sessions involve interaction with other dogs — such as in group obedience classes — bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is commonly required as well. For cats, FVRCP vaccination is the standard expectation. Bring your pet's vaccination booklet or a vet-issued certificate when attending your first session. Contact A Smiling Leash directly via WhatsApp or phone to confirm their specific vaccination requirements before your first appointment.
A Smiling Leash is verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed operating details and contact information. It carries a 5-star Google rating across 27 reviews, which is a moderate sample offering reasonable confidence. However, no ACRA business registration has been confirmed for this listing, and no regulatory licences — such as an AVS (Animal and Veterinary Service) licence — are recorded on the listing at this time. For pet training specifically, AVS licensing requirements differ from those for boarding or grooming facilities, so the absence of a listed AVS licence may not be a concern — but it is worth confirming directly with the provider. Ask about their protocol if your pet is injured or becomes unwell during a session, and whether they carry any form of professional insurance. Visit the facility or meet the trainer in person, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance arrangements before committing.
