About "Active Red"
Active Red is a sport and swimming school operating islandwide across Singapore, verified by KakiList as a confirmed, active provider. It holds a 4.9-star rating on Google, though this is drawn from 13 reviews — a small sample that should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though a specific per-session or monthly fee has not been published.
Families enquiring about Active Red should begin by confirming which programmes are available for their child's age and ability level, and whether the syllabus aligns with any existing swim progression framework or school physical education goals. It is worth asking whether classes are conducted in a group or one-to-one format, what the typical class size is, and whether a trial session is available before committing to a term. As the school operates islandwide, parents should also confirm which pools or facilities are used, how location assignment works, and whether online or hybrid sessions are offered for any components.
To take the next step, reach out to Active Red via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability, programme levels, and whether a trial class can be arranged before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the coach's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Awesome space and great environment for your workout needs! There's a spacious kickboxing studio, gym equipment, changing rooms and shower facilities. Classes are fun and engaging, and really make you break out a sweat. Trainers take extra effort to pay attention to all clients, and know everyone by name. You will feel comfortable in the classes as it's ladies only. Definitely recommended 👍
Classes are fun with sufficient challenge to keep you motivated. Instructors are attentive and you never feel left out even with a full class - they correct your form while keeping the class going, which is extremely rare compared to other gyms! Really enjoy every class I've been to!
Good starting place for beginners, clean and great place to workout in. With limited number of pax per class, its not too crowded to feel like there is ‘lack of attention’ from trainers. Trainers are friendly and provide tips to achieve my fitness goals beyond classes. + points that it’s a women only gym!
Been wanting to try kickboxing for the longest time. Tried their cc classes and fell in love. Eventually join them at their gym. They not only have kickboxing but also circuit and gym classes. A total full body workout! Friendly, amazing and professional instructors. When you feel that you're about to give up, they'll always motivate your spirits and make you work harder!
Have been kickboxing with them every week since 2014! They make an effort to create variety in the sessions so it's never the same thing! They are also extremely professional and reasonable. Never pushy about sales like other gyms!

Active Red has not published a specific per-session rate, but sport and swimming schools in Singapore typically charge S$30–80 per session for group classes, with one-to-one coaching ranging higher. Monthly packages and per-term block bookings are common and often work out more cost-effective than paying per session. Ask Active Red whether a trial class is available and at what cost, whether materials or equipment are included, and whether sibling or multi-term discounts apply. Confirm the cancellation and make-up class policy before committing. See the full Sport & Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many sport and swimming schools in Singapore offer a trial session, sometimes at a reduced rate or free of charge, before asking families to sign up for a term. A trial class is the best way to assess whether the teaching style suits your child, whether the level is appropriate, and whether your child is engaged and comfortable in the environment. When attending a trial, observe how the coach handles different ability levels within the group, how feedback is given to children, and how class sizes feel in practice. Ask Active Red directly about their trial class policy and what the session covers before booking.
Active Red has not published specific coach credentials in its listing. For swimming instruction, relevant qualifications to ask about include the Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) coaching certification, AUSTSWIM, or equivalent national coaching accreditation. For other sports, ask whether coaches hold relevant national sports association endorsements. It is also reasonable to ask how many years the lead coaches have been teaching, whether they have experience with children of different ages and abilities, and how the school handles progression between levels. If these details matter to your decision, contact Active Red directly to request this information before enrolment.
