About ActiveSG School Holiday Programmes
ActiveSG School Holiday Programmes is an education and enrichment provider offering holiday camps across Singapore, operating from its centre at 100 Tyrwhitt Rd, Level 2. The listing has been verified by KakiList, though no ACRA registration has been confirmed. It holds a Google rating of 3.8 out of 5 across 51 reviews, a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal, though prospective participants should read individual reviews carefully.
When enquiring, parents should confirm which holiday camp streams are available for their child's age group and ability level, and whether the programme aligns with any specific syllabus or developmental goal. It is worth asking whether sessions run as group classes or smaller cohorts, what the instructor-to-participant ratio is, and whether a single-day trial or shorter commitment is available before booking a full camp block. Location and transport access from your home MRT or bus stop is worth checking, as the Tyrwhitt Road address, whilst central, may not suit all parts of the island despite the islandwide coverage claim.
To find out what is available during the next school holiday period, contact ActiveSG School Holiday Programmes directly by phone or via the online enquiry form to request a programme schedule, confirm age-group eligibility, and ask about fees and booking procedures before places are filled.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Good place to work out—clean, affordable, and conveniently located in the city. I visited Jalan Besar ActiveSG with my son. Singaporeans and PRs pay only $1.50, and government credits can be used (free for me). Foreigners pay $3.50, which is still very reasonable. The only downside is that the equipment selection is more limited compared to Toa Payoh (TPY) ActiveSG. Still good value for a basic or quick workout.
Great affordable gym if one is traveling . Very busy between 7-10 am. Travelers can purchase day pass at swimming pool or st gym entrance for 3.30 sing dollars. Has everything u need. Highly recommended
Good gym with great facilities!! A little bit too crowded at peak hours though.
Foreigner straight to swimming pool entrance to purchase entrance ticket, they only accept qr payment. Overall had good service and experience during the gym. Well maintained equipment.
Went to Jalan Besar ActiveSG gym last week in the early morning 7am, was worried that the gym would be closed as there wasn’t much info and reviews on it… decided to give it a shot and was not disappointed ;) Do note that the entrance is directly facing the road so you can save the hassle of walking all the way to the back (as I did) Loved that it’s a big space with multiple machines to workout, enjoyed the view overseeing the pool. Will return again one day.

ActiveSG School Holiday Programmes uses a mid-range price positioning (displayed as $$), but specific per-session or per-camp fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the provider. Holiday camp pricing in Singapore typically varies by duration (half-day, full-day, or multi-day block), activity type, and group size. Ask whether a trial day is available at a lower rate before committing to a full camp block, and check whether materials or equipment are included in the quoted fee or billed separately. Sibling discounts or early-bird rates may apply — worth asking at the time of enquiry. See the full holiday camps cost guide for Singapore →
Whether a standalone trial session is available will depend on the specific programme and how it is structured — some holiday camps are designed as multi-day blocks where a single-day trial may not be offered, while others may allow a drop-in day. When enquiring, ask whether your child can attend one session before you commit to the full programme, and what the cancellation or refund policy is if the camp turns out not to be the right fit. Observing how instructors engage with participants and whether the activity level is appropriate for your child's age and ability are the most useful things to assess before booking.
No information about instructor qualifications or certifications is currently available in the listing data for ActiveSG School Holiday Programmes. When contacting the provider, it is reasonable to ask about the coaches' or instructors' relevant training, certifications, and experience working with children in a holiday camp setting. If the camps involve physical activity or sports, ask whether coaches hold recognised coaching accreditations aligned to the relevant national sports associations. Confirming staff-to-participant ratios will also help you assess supervision standards before enrolling your child.
