New clients typically begin with an initial consultation, during which the physiotherapist takes a detailed history, assesses mobility and function, and identifies the presenting condition — whether that is musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury, neurological recovery, or a chronic condition requiring ongoing management. From there, a personalised treatment plan is drawn up, which may involve manual therapy, exercise prescription, dry needling, or other modalities depending on clinical need. Sessions can be booked as standalone appointments or structured into a course of treatment, and clients are encouraged to discuss scheduling frequency and any insurance or corporate benefit claims at the first visit.

I first visited Dr Isabelle in April due to shoulder pain, as I was experiencing discomfort during overhead shoulder workouts. She was very attentive and patient, and was able to accurately identify the issue and treat it effectively. She also recommended helpful stretches to improve my mobility. I returned for a second session and noticed a clear improvement in my condition. I later went back again for ankle discomfort, and Isabelle was once again able to treat the issue successfully. I’m really glad to have met Dr Isabelle. She is knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely cares about her patients. I’m very pleased with her service and can tell she truly enjoys what she does. Keep up the great work! 👍🏼👍🏼
I had an excellent experience with TJ - just two sessions (including dry needling) my wrist and shoulder pain were largely gone. He also coordinated with my PT to ensure I had the right rehab exercises and even checked in afterwards to monitor my progress. Truly professional, collaborative, and caring service. Highly recommend!
TJ is an excellent physio who quickly identified the root causes of my back pain and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He prescribed targeted rehab exercises and was incredibly patient, attentive, and encouraging throughout both sessions. After just two visits, my range of motion has improved tremendously and the extreme pain I was dealing with is essentially gone. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients’ progress and recovery, not just a quick fix. Highly recommend TJ if you’re dealing with pain or mobility issues.
I will recommend Isabelle from ActiveX. She is very patient in understanding my pain points and adjust the excercise to suit my me. I appreciate her efforts in the follow-up after every session with her where she will provide details of the rehab excercise and accompany them with their videos respectively. This is extremely helpful for my reference given that I am the forgetful type. Thanks for being part of my recovery journey.
If you are a powerlifter and are looking for a physio therapist in Singapore, look no further. TJ’s expertise in injury management combined with his experience in competitive powerlifting results in some really effective injury management solutions. I recently participated in a powerlifting competition and had a bad flare up in my adductor. I was barely able to walk for the next 3 days and any kind of squat was out of the question. I saw TJ at ActiveX, and religiously followed the rehab movements he prescribed. Less than 9 days later I was back in the gym squatting close to 200kg with almost no pain. Highly recommended! Thank you TJ

ActiveX Physio has not published a per-session rate on its listing, so fees should be confirmed directly before booking. As a general guide, physiotherapy consultations in Singapore typically run S$80–180 per session at private clinics, with initial assessments often priced slightly higher than follow-up sessions. Package pricing — for example, a block of six or eight sessions — is commonly available and works out at a lower per-session cost than paying individually. Confirm whether your employer's medical benefits, integrated shield plan, or corporate wellness scheme covers private physiotherapy, as some insurers reimburse part of the cost with a referral letter from a GP. No-show and cancellation fees vary by clinic, so ask about the policy at the time of booking. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →
You do not need a GP referral to book a physiotherapy session at a private clinic such as ActiveX Physio — you can self-refer directly. That said, arriving with any relevant medical documents (imaging reports, discharge summaries, or specialist letters) helps the physiotherapist assess your condition more quickly and accurately at the first visit. The initial appointment typically begins with an intake assessment covering your medical history, current symptoms, pain level, and functional goals. This assessment informs the treatment plan. If you intend to claim the cost through a health insurer or integrated shield plan, check whether your policy requires a referral letter — some do, and obtaining one before your first visit avoids reimbursement complications.
Physiotherapists practising in Singapore are required to be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is verifiable on the AHPC public register at go.gov.sg/ahpc. ActiveX Physio has not listed specific AHPC registration details on KakiList, so it is advisable to confirm the consulting physiotherapist's registration number directly with the clinic before your first appointment. For clients with complex neurological, orthopaedic, or post-surgical conditions, it is also worth asking whether the treating physiotherapist holds any specialist credentials or advanced clinical training relevant to your condition. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the AHPC public register before treatment.
