AcuMed Medical (Bedok) is a small clinic that is well organised. Do remember to wear a mask before going to the clinic. I called the clinic before making a trip down for pre-employment medical examination. The staff gave an estimate of 1 hour for the test to be completed, and the actual time taken is around that time. The process is systematic and smooth. Just beside it, there's an X-Ray centre. There's number system to tell you when it's your turn. Toilet is clean. Aircon is not too cold. Staff are patient and give easy to follow instructions. Doctor is friendly.

Went there for my son's injury on a weekday before lunch time and was treated well. Staff were courteous and helpful and they were very kind to offer advice too. Doctor was thorough and friendly, and went for an X-Ray next door. Promptly got the X-ray done after the Radiologist returned from a 15 min break and had the doctor review the scans. A very pleasant experience and happy with the way my son was treated throughout. Thanks.

Made an appointment to do a flu shot. I was there on time but was told appointment also must queue. So had to go to the back of the line that stretched out of the clinic. I left after 5 minutes when the line didn’t move! What’s the point of making an appointment when you have to queue like those who just walk in. And I waited 4 days for the appointment slot when I could’ve gone to another clinic earlier.

My first encounter at the clinic for the health screening was pleasant. The clinic is very cramped and messy and they did the best they could to do the tests. One week later, I missed a call from them and called back immediately but no one picked up. I called back multiple times over the next 2 days and no one picks up. Fed-up, I went to the clinic physically. I mentioned that I had called multiple times but no one picks up the phone. No apologies from them. When waiting for my turn to pick up my report, another patient walked in angrily and said the same thing about no one picking up the phone. The funny thing is that while waiting for my turn, I overheard the front desk people talking happily on not just one but two phone calls. I understand that they might be busy but at least the time I was there, there were two persons sitting at the front desk. To not pick up the phone calls just shows that they don't care. Next, about the doctors. The first doctor I saw for the health screening was gently and pleasant and took down notes to understand my existing health condition and my concerns. The second doctor I saw should be going through the results with me but he did not explain too much and was just telling me information I could read by myself from the report. It felt like he was just trying to get through it so that I could leave the room. I had to probe a lot to get him to explain. I'd have rated it 1 star if not for the more pleasant visit the first time. If you require follow-ups, then this is probably not a clinic for you.

After reading some of the reviews here, I felt compelled to give my own. My observation is that, the staff, including doctor who attended to me are all polite and obviously trying their best, despite the crowd and “crampy” environment. I got my audiometric test done in 90 mins, being 3rd in the queue. My take is, it is NOT a human factor. Staff already tried very hard. Hope the Group would look into the shortfalls & shortcomings. It certainly needs attention to preserve its reputation and ratings. (I was there on 7 May 2025 morning)
