About AcuMed Medical Sengkang
AcuMed Medical Sengkang is a general practice clinic located at 215C Compassvale Drive, #01-02, in the Sengkang neighbourhood. The clinic is KakiList verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 3.5 out of 5 rating across 81 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that provides a reasonable directional signal. No regulatory licences have been provided to KakiList at this time, and the clinic is not listed on the ACRA business registry as confirmed here; prospective patients are encouraged to verify the MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration independently before attending.
For a first visit to a GP clinic, the typical pathway is a walk-in or a same-day phone booking. Bring your NRIC or FIN, your Integrated Shield Plan (IP) insurer card if relevant, and a list of current medications. The consultation will usually cover presenting symptoms, a brief examination, and a prescription or onward referral if needed. MediSave can be used under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for eligible conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders, with a S$500 or S$700 annual withdrawal limit depending on the programme tier. If a polyclinic or GP referral letter to a public hospital specialist outpatient clinic is needed, request it during the consultation to access subsidised rates.
To make an appointment or enquire about current waiting times, contact AcuMed Medical Sengkang directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Brought my mother to the clinic for a consultation with Dr. Chathu. He was caring, attentive, and took the time to explain the diagnosis and treatment clearly. The clinic staff were courteous and efficient, and the overall experience was smooth and reassuring. Highly recommend Dr. Chathu and his team for their professionalism and patient-centered care.
Been attended to by Dr Natalie for my past visits. Despite arriving unwell, her cheery personality and gentle demeanor always provide a welcome sense of comfort and help ease the feeling of sickness. Thank you to the Dr and nurse for making the visit a comfortable one.
Today I went to the clinic for a flu vaccine. Both of the counter staff were friendly and helpful. Dr Andrew who attended to me was detailed and patient.
Have come here a few times over the years as it is one of the closer clinics to my house. Dr Sharon is unfortunately not stationed here anymore, she was one of the best GPs around. There was another GP (who someone mentioned in the earlier comments) who had also left (thankfully as there were negative comments about him). The latest Doc we saw was Dr Malik. He was courteous and professional. Waiting time in the afternoon was around 1hr+ for around 5 people ahead. Registration and waiting time for medicines was acceptable and uneventful. I appreciate the e invoices and e MC system.
Don’t waste your time here, the doctor just keeps quiet for 10 mins between each call. No idea what he is doing inside. Probably on Instagram?

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60, with follow-up visits on the lower end. Common add-ons billed separately include blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, X-rays (S$80–150), wound dressings, and prescriptions. GST applies to private medical services. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan layered on MediShield Life, outpatient GP visits are generally not claimable under IP (which covers inpatient and day surgery), but selected chronic disease management under CDMP is MediSave-claimable. For planned investigations, ask for a written breakdown of estimated costs before proceeding. AcuMed Medical Sengkang displays as S$$, indicating mid-range private GP pricing — contact the clinic directly to confirm current consultation fees. Every legitimate clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. No licences have been submitted to KakiList for AcuMed Medical Sengkang at the time of this listing. Patients are strongly encouraged to verify the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration independently before attending. Neither the clinic licence nor the individual doctor's SMC entry alone is sufficient — both should be confirmed. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
MediSave can be used at GP clinics for outpatient treatment under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions. The annual withdrawal limit is S$500 for general CDMP or S$700 for the enhanced tier. Routine GP consultations outside CDMP are generally not MediSave-claimable at the outpatient level. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life primarily cover inpatient stays and day surgery, not standard outpatient GP visits. If you require a specialist referral, a GP referral letter to a public hospital specialist outpatient clinic (SOC) unlocks subsidised consultation rates of S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens, compared with S$120–250 for direct self-pay access to a private specialist. Confirm your IP insurer's pre-authorisation requirements and any Letter of Guarantee process before any planned procedure to avoid unexpected bills.
