Dr Chua is caring and takes time to properly understand my concern. She even explained why my condition could have occurred and how I could prevent it from happening again in the future. Very calm and soothing. However I cannot say the same for the 2 ladies at the counter. I was the only one in the clinic but both appeared like they cannot be bothered with me which is fine but the most amusing thing is they gave me my medication and I left without paying. I only realized I didn’t make payment after a good 5 minutes when I was almost reaching my office. I rushed back to the clinic and both didn’t even look up (again, empty clinic). I went to the counter and said I think I forgot to make payment. Then they very calmly check the system and were like, oh yeah, it’s $xxx how will you be paying? So absurd. It’s like they don’t even give a damn about whether patients paid. I wonder how they do their accounting.

Receptionist was great despite her having to run the counter and alone.Thank you. 🙏🏼 ❤️ Can’t say the same for the doctor on duty. I’ve been coming here for the past 7-8years when i’m unwell at work and 2-3 different doctors (i think) over the years. Today, my first encounter with the new doctor. All was going great however when I shared my concerns towards the end, the doctor got frustrated suddenly, pressed hard on her keyboard and gave out a sigh. 😔

I had a pleasant experience at this clinic during my medical checkup, as both receptionist Jonathan and the doctor were very friendly and patient. Clinic was clean and the process was efficient.

How much does AcuMed Medical Tanjong Pagar Guoco Tower charge?

AcuMed Medical Tanjong Pagar Guoco Tower is priced at the mid-range tier. Singapore GP consultations typically run S$25–60 per visit at private clinics, with follow-up visits slightly lower. If you hold a polyclinic or GP referral letter and attend a public hospital SOC instead, Singapore Citizens pay S$30–80 after subsidy, though non-urgent wait times of 4–12 weeks apply. Beyond the consultation fee, common add-ons include investigations (blood panel S$60–200, X-ray S$80–150), prescriptions, and follow-up reviews. GST applies to private medical services. Is AcuMed Medical Tanjong Pagar Guoco Tower MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences are currently listed for AcuMed Medical Tanjong Pagar Guoco Tower in this directory. Every legitimate clinic should hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor should also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. Before attending, it is advisable to search the clinic name on the MOH licensee directory and confirm the consulting doctor's name on the SMC register. Neither alone is sufficient — both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry should be verified. Listing data is incomplete — contact AcuMed Medical Tanjong Pagar Guoco Tower directly to confirm details.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at AcuMed Medical Tanjong Pagar Guoco Tower?

For general GP outpatient visits, MediSave can be used under the S$500 annual withdrawal limit. If you have an eligible chronic condition — such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, or stroke — the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) provides an additional S$700/year MediSave allowance at participating CDMP-accredited clinics. Confirm whether this clinic is CDMP-accredited before your visit. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan (IP) layered on MediShield Life, most GP consultations are not covered under IP (which is primarily for inpatient and day surgery), but specialist consultations and day procedures at private facilities may be — check your plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider terms. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic before proceeding to avoid unexpected bills.
