Visited this clinic today and was pleasantly surprised, not as crowded as other places I've been to. The counter staff Jonathan and Leena were really polite and friendly. Dr. Malik was kind, patient, and really paid attention to what I was saying. Overall a great experience, I’d definitely recommend this clinic to my family!

Spoke with Jonathan by phone. He was very polite and explained that Tuas is closed this Saturday. He advised me to go to Jurong Point and gave clear instructions on what to bring and how to find the clinic there.

Never see such doctor in my whole life, see doctor for my neck and back pain. Waiting for 3 hours to see doctor and doctor check me lesser than 30 seconds. Just ask me wat problem,I replied. Doctor said wait outside to collect your medicine. He never check my bp, never check wat is the cause for pain whether muscle strain or anything else. Wasted money and my good time. I regret to choose acumed @Tuas.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does AcuMed Medical Tuas South BioMed Hub charge?

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with follow-up visits at the lower end of that range. Common add-ons billed separately include blood panels (S$60–200), throat or nasal swabs, urinalysis, X-rays (S$80–150), and prescriptions. GST applies on private medical services. For planned investigations or referrals to a specialist, ask the clinic for a written financial estimate that separates the consultation fee, investigation costs, and any referral letter fee. MediSave cannot be used for standard GP outpatient consultations unless the clinic is a registered CDMP provider — confirm this directly with the clinic if you intend to claim for a chronic condition. Is AcuMed Medical Tuas South BioMed Hub MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences are recorded in this listing. Before attending, verify two things independently: first, that the clinic premises hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — searchable on the MOH licensee directory online; second, that the consulting doctor is on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, which confirms their registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. Neither licence alone is sufficient — a licensed clinic must be staffed by an SMC-registered doctor, and an SMC-registered doctor must practise from a licensed premises. If either cannot be confirmed, seek care elsewhere.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at AcuMed Medical Tuas South BioMed Hub?

MediSave cannot be used for routine GP outpatient visits unless the clinic participates in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers listed conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, and COPD. Under CDMP, MediSave withdrawals of up to S$500 per year (or S$700 under the enhanced MediSave 700 limit) can offset consultation and medication costs at registered providers — confirm directly whether this clinic is CDMP-registered. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient and day-surgery costs rather than GP outpatient consultations, unless your rider includes outpatient benefits. For any planned procedure or specialist referral generated from this clinic, request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding.
