About Advantage Medical Parkway Parade

About Advantage Medical Parkway Parade

Advantage Medical Parkway Parade is a general practice clinic located at Parkway Parade on Marine Parade Road, serving patients across Singapore. KakiList has verified the clinic's operating details and contact channels. It holds a 4.4/5 rating across 213 Google reviews, a robust sample that provides a reasonable signal of patient experience. No regulatory licences are currently listed in the KakiList record; patients should confirm the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council registration directly before booking.

For a typical GP consultation, patients may walk in or contact the clinic by phone or enquiry form to arrange a visit. A GP can assess acute conditions, manage chronic disease under the Chronic Disease Management Programme, issue referral letters to public hospital specialist outpatient clinics for subsidised rates, and order basic investigations such as blood panels, urine tests, and swabs. As a Parkway Parade-based private clinic, consultation fees are billed on a per-visit basis and are subject to GST. Patients with Integrated Shield Plans or MediSave should confirm at the front desk which outpatient claims apply, noting the MediSave 500 annual withdrawal limit for general outpatient care and the expanded MediSave 700 limit for CDMP-listed chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia.

To take the next step, contact Advantage Medical Parkway Parade by phone or via the enquiry form on KakiList to confirm consultation hours, panel insurer participation, and CDMP enrolment eligibility before your visit.

Amazing! Dr Vivyan was super professional and super skilled. Came here for a medical check up as a person who is deadly afraid of needles but she did the blood draw in less than 20 seconds and it was legitimately painless. Super super happy will definitely come back to her! The other members of staff are super friendly and professional too. Their WhatsApp chat is very helpful in recommending practical solutions and the best packages. 💯

I booked an appointment for my shoulder on 26/11/25, and the appointment confirmation via email was prompt and efficient. The clinic environment itself was quiet, clean, and comfortable. However, I was quite taken aback by the service and attitude of the medical receptionist/clinic assistant/nurse. When I handed over my IC, she immediately said, “You’re under this insurance (company insured card) right? Then we won’t do your X-ray here. We will refer you to somewhere else. If you do it here, you have to pay yourself.” That was fine, so I proceeded to clarify where the referral location would be and whether it could be done on the same day. She mentioned Orchard. I then asked, “Can I do it here then?” — which clearly implies I was willing to pay out-of-pocket. Instead of a normal explanation, she responded in a rude and dismissive tone along the lines of, “Can do here but you pay yourself la.” Considering I was already in pain, the attitude and service were completely unnecessary, especially at a clinic with such strong reviews. It made the experience much more stressful than it needed to be. This kind of attitude is unacceptable, especially when patients are already in pain and seeking help. The clinic should inform patients in advance—especially in the confirmation email—that those under company insurance will be referred out for X-rays. Also, being on a GP panel, it’s unclear why such inconvenience is necessary. On a positive note, the doctor and X-ray technician were excellent: professional, reassuring, and very pleasant to deal with. Overall, great doctors but front-desk service needs serious improvement.

⚠️ Disappointed with Parkway Parade Medical Centre (Advantage Medical Group) – 26 May 2025 ⚠️ Had a really disappointing experience during my scheduled LTA medical check-up at Parkway Parade Medical Centre. Upon arrival, I was told by the receptionist to sign all sections of the medical form — including those meant for after the doctor's consultation. When I asked if it was appropriate to sign before seeing the doctor, her response was, “You still have to sign after seeing the doctor, right!” This didn’t sit well with me, and I chose not to sign until after the consultation. It just felt wrong being told to sign official medical documents prematurely. The receptionist had no name tag, and I didn’t ask her name to avoid making things worse. But this kind of instruction from front-line staff is concerning — especially for regulated processes like LTA medical exams. I followed up with an email complaint to Advantage Medical Group… but received no reply to date. Honestly, I can’t recommend this clinic based on this experience. If this is how medical compliance is handled, it raises serious concerns. Just sharing my experience so others are aware.

Front desk is rude in person and on the phone, when I went to the wrong building. It was a genuine mistake. Later I found out her name is Jaclyn. Came here to do an X-ray. Nothing notable and it was a standard procedure.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Advantage Medical Parkway Parade charge?

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with follow-ups at the lower end of that range. Investigations are billed on top: a basic blood panel runs S$60–200, a urine or swab test S$30–80, and an X-ray S$80–150 where required. GST applies on all private medical services. Patients enrolled in the Chronic Disease Management Programme may use MediSave to offset qualifying outpatient charges up to the S$700/year CDMP withdrawal limit. For any planned investigation or referral, ask the clinic for a written breakdown of expected costs before proceeding. Advantage Medical Parkway Parade displays a '$$' price signal, suggesting mid-range private GP pricing — confirm the exact consultation fee when you call. Is Advantage Medical Parkway Parade MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must be on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm their registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. No licences are currently recorded in the KakiList listing for Advantage Medical Parkway Parade. This does not necessarily mean the clinic is unlicensed, but it does mean you should ask the clinic directly for its MOH licence number and the consulting doctor's SMC registration before your visit. Both are public records and any legitimate operator will supply them without hesitation. Verify the doctor's name on the SMC register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Advantage Medical Parkway Parade?

MediSave can be used for outpatient charges under two main pathways: the general MediSave 500 withdrawal limit (S$500/year for selected outpatient treatments) and the MediSave 700 limit (S$700/year) for patients enrolled in the Chronic Disease Management Programme covering conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, and others. Confirm at the front desk whether the clinic is a CDMP-accredited provider and whether your condition qualifies. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan layered on MediShield Life, check whether your plan covers private GP consultations — many plans cap outpatient GP benefits or require a panel clinic. For any specialist referral or planned procedure arising from a GP visit, pre-authorisation from your insurer and a Letter of Guarantee before the procedure will prevent claim disputes after the fact. For clarity on what your specific plan covers, contact your insurer directly before the visit. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
