About Aljunied Medical Clinic

About Aljunied Medical Clinic

Aljunied Medical Clinic is a general practice clinic located at 389 Upper Aljunied Road, serving patients across Singapore. The clinic has been verified by KakiList and holds a 4.4-star rating across 116 Google reviews, a robust sample that provides a reliable directional signal. No regulatory licence details are currently on file for this listing, so patients are advised to confirm MOH Healthcare Services Licence and doctor SMC registration directly with the clinic before booking.

For a first visit, patients typically walk in or call ahead to check queue times before arriving. The GP consultation covers presenting symptoms, a physical examination, and same-day management including prescriptions and referral letters where needed. Investigations such as blood panels, urine tests, and point-of-care rapid tests are commonly performed on-site at GP level. If a specialist referral is required, the GP can issue a referral letter for a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic, which reduces the consultation fee to S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens after subsidy. Patients on chronic disease management plans may be eligible for MediSave 500 or CDMP-covered outpatient withdrawals for listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia.

To arrange a visit, call the clinic directly to confirm operating hours, current waiting times, and whether your condition is suitable for GP-level management or requires an urgent referral.

My go to clinic for past 2 years. However, today's visit was a tad disappointing. If your opening hours is 6pm and your doctor only arrives at 6.45pm, at least inform your patients or update the operating hours? Seated for 45 minutes just to wait for the doctor. Unprofessional.

Newly opened clinic in late August 2022, serving residents in the vicinity. Went on a Saturday evening, as my hubby was experiencing stomach discomfort. When we first approached the clinic, the signage was indicated “closed” but interior lights were on, so we went in and checked with the clinic staff. She immediately rectified the signage issue. There was no one in the clinic and 1 clinic staff manning the counter. Clinic is clean and well maintained. The whole process from registration and seeing doctor to medication collection took about 15 mins. My hubby was diagnosed with food poisoning, and felt slightly better 15 mins after taking the given meds.

Wrong diagnosis by practitioner Dr Goh. Referred to wrong department of TTSH. Time and money wasted. Causing anxiety to me and my family. Be aware and beware to All. Thanks

Don't quite understand the clinic hours of opening at 6pm when the Dr takes own time own target to arrive which is a time waster as one has to rush down from work and wish to have a quick consultation before heading home for well deserved rest time. That said, the nurse with short hair is rather rude and brash when asked if one could purchase medication via the counter. Decorum/service can definitely be improved, with this clinic that serves nearby residents.

Poor Service, female doctor is rude, annoyed. She asked a question about my mensus history, i open my phone to check and she is very annoyed and ask, "no need very accurate, just tell me roughly". NO PATIENCE AT ALL. The doctor told me, if I need IHP to book an appointment to the specialist for me, let the front desk know. When I am collecting my referral letter from the front desk, the receptionist asked me to book specialist on my own. I said, the doctor mentioned I can book through IHP by informing you. Then the receptionist said, okay IHP will contact you in 2-3 working days. 4 working days later, I called the clinic and ask if there is any update from IHP. They told me they will check and call me back. No call back, no update. I called IHP directly and was informed that there is no appointment request from the panel clinic under my profile. What a bad service from 1 Aljunied Medical.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Aljunied Medical Clinic charge?

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60, with follow-up visits at the lower end of that range. Common add-ons billed separately include investigations such as blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, and rapid antigen or swab tests (S$15–50), as well as prescriptions and medical certificates. GST applies on private medical services. Patients with a polyclinic or GP referral letter attending a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic pay S$30–80 after subsidy for Singapore Citizens, though non-urgent wait times run 4–12 weeks. Contact Aljunied Medical Clinic directly for their current consultation fee schedule, as pricing is not published on this listing. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Is Aljunied Medical Clinic MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must be listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. No licence details are currently recorded in this listing for Aljunied Medical Clinic, so patients should ask the clinic to confirm both the premises licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration number before booking. Confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry — neither alone is sufficient.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Aljunied Medical Clinic?

For outpatient GP visits, MediSave can be used under the S$500 annual withdrawal limit for general outpatient consultations, or under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) up to S$700/year for listed chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions. Confirm with the clinic whether they are a CDMP-accredited provider before your visit. Integrated Shield Plans layered on MediShield Life generally do not cover GP outpatient visits unless your plan includes a rider with outpatient benefits — check your policy terms. For any planned investigation or procedure, request a financial counselling session so the clinic can issue a written estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and cash portions. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
