The clinic is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact information have been confirmed. It holds a 3.5/5 rating across 64 Google reviews, a moderate sample that suggests a range of patient experiences. For most patients, the journey begins with a walk-in or phone booking for a GP consultation, typically covering acute illnesses, chronic disease management, vaccinations, minor wound care, or referrals to specialist care. At a family clinic, patients managing long-term conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or high cholesterol may be eligible for the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$700 per year for outpatient treatment at participating CDMP-enrolled clinics. It is worth confirming whether this clinic participates in the CDMP, Screen for Life subsidised health screening, and CHAS (Community Health Assist Scheme) before your visit, as these significantly affect the out-of-pocket cost for Singapore Citizens and PRs.
To get started, call the clinic directly on the listed phone number to confirm current operating hours, same-day appointment availability, and whether your specific concern — whether an acute illness, a repeat prescription, or a referral letter — can be addressed at this visit.

Good CX (customer experience) at this clinic. Quiet, clean, polite staff and smooth operations. Dr Derrick Ong was very patient and calm to explain his diagnosis of the illness and choices of his prescribed treatment. Charges are reasonable too. Strongly recommended!
Felt compelled to write a review after seeing so many one-star reviews. I never encountered rude treatment from the clinic staff even those names that were mentioned. They were always polite and even ask me to drink more water or take care after collecting medicine. Dr Ong is meticulous, gentle and asks good questions before arriving at his diagnosis. As I live nearby, it is easier for me to get a number first and go home to wait. Every clinic has their own way of operations too, better to find somewhere else that suits your needs. I can understand those comments when they said they have to wait at least 1.5 to 2 hours as Dr Ong is careful with each patient, inevitable the wait time increases slightly. Overall, my experience has been very pleasant.
Surprised to see so many 1 star for clinic staff. Came for the first time. Malay counter staff was very friendly, polite and cheerful. She can even speak mandarin. I went at 930am on a weekday to register, was 10+ in queue but managed to see doctor at 11.10am. Staff told me to go home and she would call me when nearing my turn - which she did call. No need to crowd at clinic. Doctor was very professional. Because it was my first time here, he took time to ask about my medical background. He also took the time to properly check my issue and explain what the issue was. Very good because a lot of doctors rush through consultation nowadays but Doctor was patient (no pun intended lol).
We did not encounter any issues with the doctor or registration staff. Overall, they treated every patient politely, and the doctor provided a thorough and detailed analysis that might caused the consultation to be longer.
It was stated that opening hours is from 9am. We were number 3 in the queue, and I was told it may be a 30 minutes wait. The doctor walked into the clinic at 9.48am. All the while, no apology and no update. Totally inconsiderate to the sick patients! Will be my last visit!

GP consultation fees at private family clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, covering the consultation itself. Common add-ons billed separately include investigations (blood panel S$60–200, urine test S$15–40, X-ray S$80–150), prescriptions, and follow-up reviews. GST applies on private medical services. Patients holding CHAS cards (Blue, Orange, or Merdeka Generation tiers) may be eligible for subsidised consultation and medication fees at participating GP clinics — confirm whether this clinic is CHAS-enrolled. For any planned procedure or referral, request a written breakdown of expected costs, including out-of-pocket, MediSave, and insurance portions, before proceeding. Every legitimate clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. No licence information is currently recorded in this KakiList listing, so patients are strongly encouraged to verify the clinic's licence status and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration at smc.gov.sg before booking. Searching by the doctor's name on the SMC public register will confirm active registration status and any specialist accreditation. Confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry — neither alone is sufficient. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
MediSave can be used for outpatient GP visits under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient claims and S$700 per year for conditions covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which includes hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions. Confirm whether this clinic is enrolled in the CDMP before assuming MediSave applies to your consultation. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life primarily cover hospitalisation and day surgery rather than routine GP visits, though some riders extend to outpatient specialist consultations. For any investigation or procedure, request a pre-treatment cost estimate from the clinic that clearly separates the insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
