About "ALPS Table Tennis"
ALPS Table Tennis is a sports enrichment provider offering table tennis coaching across Singapore, operating from its base at 89 Science Park Drive, The Rutherford, Lobby A, #02-01. It holds a KakiList verification, confirming that operating details and contact channels have been reviewed by a real person. The provider carries a Google rating of 4.8 out of 5 across 23 reviews — a modest sample size, so this figure should be treated as directional rather than definitive.
Parents and students enquiring about coaching should ask about level and syllabus fit — whether sessions are structured for beginners, recreational players, or those preparing for competitive play. It is worth clarifying whether classes run in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, what the term commitment looks like, and whether trial sessions are available before signing up for a full programme. The Science Park Drive location is the primary centre, though the provider's islandwide coverage suggests sessions may also be arranged at other venues.
To take the next step, reach out to ALPS Table Tennis via WhatsApp, phone, or the contact form to ask about current availability, confirm class formats that suit your child's age and experience level, and enquire about a trial session before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My kids have seen incredible growth at Alps Table Tennis Academy, thanks to their structured training, committed coaches and nurturing environment. The new location @ Rutherford is fantastic—clean, spacious and with ample parking. The academy excels in enhancing both athletic skills and personal development. We highly recommend Alps to any parent looking for a top-tier program for their child!
Found this new and hidden gem given that all the public table tennis venue are closed due to the pandemic. Rented a table for 2 hours at this academy. The place is surprisingly well equipped with very good quality tables and even provided balls for us to play with. Lightning is good, flooring is also rubber material which is excellent for table tennis. On top of theses, this place is also air-conditioned which makes it very comfortable to have a nice game with my friends.
The place is clean and nicely done up with premium equipment which include a state of the art "PING PONG ROBOT". Well known coaches with port folio attending to the students with positive vibes. My little gal will be loving this place!!
Conducive environment for Table Tennis training and not forgetting the coaches. They are professional and super engaging towards their student. My niece and nephew has improved a lot in their table tennis skill within a month! Thumbs up to Coach Jitkiat!
1. Location is centralised and convenience. For those taking public transport, it is near to Nicoll Highway MRT Station. For drivers, parking is convenience. 2. Good training ground. Although Golden Mile Complex looks old and unfurnished, but the TT academy is well renovated and is conducive for training. 3. Good food nearby. Many good food and famous stores can be found at the nearby Golden Mile Hawker. Or you can enjoy Thai food in the Golden Mile Complex. Highly recommended!

ALPS Table Tennis displays a mid-range price indicator, though specific per-session fees, monthly packages, and term rates are not publicly listed. Pricing for table tennis coaching in Singapore typically varies depending on whether sessions are one-to-one or group-based, the experience level of the coach, and the duration of each session. It is worth asking whether a trial class is available at a reduced or standard rate before committing to a full term. Additional costs to confirm include any materials or equipment fees, whether a registration or administration charge applies, and whether sibling or multi-session package discounts are offered. Many sports enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial session so that students and parents can assess whether the coaching style, level, and group dynamics are a good fit before signing up for a full term. It is worth asking ALPS Table Tennis directly whether a trial class is available, what the cost is, and whether that fee is credited against a subsequent enrolment. During a trial, observe whether the session is appropriately pitched to the student's current ability, whether the coach communicates clearly with younger players, and whether the group size allows for adequate individual attention. These factors matter more than a single-session impression, so a follow-up question about the typical class size and coach-to-student ratio is worthwhile.
Coaching credentials for table tennis in Singapore can include Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA) coaching certifications, as well as broader sports coaching qualifications. Some coaches hold backgrounds in competitive play at national or club level, which can indicate both technical knowledge and experience working with students at different stages. ALPS Table Tennis's specific coach qualifications are not listed in the available provider data. It is advisable to ask directly about the lead coach's certification level, years of coaching experience, and whether the programme is aligned with any structured development pathway, particularly if the student has competitive ambitions.
