This place is awesome. Staff were very friendly. And best of all, they remember me and called me by my name. Doctor was very thorough, ensuring the medications he was going to give me do not interfere with my existing condition. Highly recommend.

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with investigations billed on top — a basic blood panel S$60–200, urine test S$20–50, and a throat or wound swab S$30–80. Prescribed medications are usually charged separately. For chronic disease follow-up under the CDMP, MediSave withdrawal of up to S$700 per year can offset outpatient costs for listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions. Standard outpatient visits outside CDMP allow up to S$500 per year in MediSave. GST applies on private medical services. Every legitimate clinic in Singapore holds an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. This directory entry does not currently list any regulatory licences for Aman Medical Centre Changi Road. Patients should verify the MOH clinic licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration independently before attending — neither step takes more than a few minutes online and both are standard due diligence for any private medical provider. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, but standard GP outpatient visits are generally not claimable under IP unless specifically included in a rider. Confirm your plan's outpatient rider terms with your insurer before assuming coverage. MediSave can be used at GP clinics for selected outpatient conditions — up to S$500 per year for general outpatient withdrawal, and up to S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme for listed chronic conditions. CHAS (Community Health Assist Scheme) subsidies apply at enrolled GP clinics for Singapore Citizens who qualify by income; confirm whether Aman Medical Centre Changi Road is a CHAS-enrolled clinic when you call. For any planned investigation or procedure, ask the clinic for a written cost estimate that separates the MediSave-claimable portion from the out-of-pocket balance. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
