J trained my poodle before in the past when he had anxiety and he improved significantly. This is the first time we leave him with boarding since COVID for a 2 weeks trip and we were worried since he is quite anxious and do not do well with stress. However our only choice in mind for any stay and train was with J, and even though it took some time for Beanie to get used to the environment, I would say I feel safe for him to be with J as he provided adequate updates for us who were overseas. We had a quick debrief when we picked him up where J would tell us his observations about his behaviour and helped us understand our dog better. Looking forward to working with J further (even tho my dog might not be as enthusiastic 🤣)

Our puppy recently completed the puppy class with Jeryl and Nicole, and it has been a truly wonderful experience. Unlike other trainers who jump straight into command training, they took time to first observe our puppy’s behaviour and understand the key challenges that we were facing as owners. They patiently explained why dogs behave the way they do - especially in situations where we might have misunderstood their actions, and this insight has made a big difference in how we respond and connect with our puppy. Their approach is thoughtful, compassionate and they are always ready to offer advice even outside lesson time. I first met Jeryl sometime in 2017/2018. My wife and I had alot of challenges with toilet training, separation anxiety and obedience training for my toy poodle Loki. We tried a few trainers and searched online for tips. But nothing seemed to work. When we engaged Jeryl, he was patient and meticulous. He assessed Loki and helped to train him. We also sent my other poodle Tobi to him for stay and train a few years later. We faced a few life challenges and were close to putting Tobi up for adoption. We turned to Jeryl and he heard us without judgment and came forward to help us. When we overcame our personal challenges, we were able to implement Jeryl's training methods and tips to ensure our boys are well trained, well behaved and most importantly, happy and safe. We were able to continue having Tobi and change out lives to support him better. We've also sought help from Jeryl for sitting for our 3 dogs whenever we need to travel. We don't trust anyone else to take care of our boys. Whenever we send the boys for sitting, they are so excited to see Jeryl. That shows that they feel safe and will have a shorter time to decompress. Jeryl readily responds to any queries I have regarding anything related to the boys (e.g. Kibbles feeding, pee tray brand to buy, which vet is reliable, etc). Really happy to have gotten where we are right now with my dog Mille. With the proper guidance from Jeryl and also patience with Mille, he has improved so much and our family can now enjoy many happy moments with him. Mille used to be really aggressive and extremely difficult to handle. Now, we are able to understand him better so it makes handling much easier. Do not give up on your pets as they only have us. We are the only family they know. I am thankful to have met the right trainer who could help us with Mille without any pain inflicted on him. No e collar, no beatings, simply corrective measures that you will be amazed our dogs can understand without having to go through fear. We first consulted with Jeryl to help us prepare our dog Tasty for having a new baby in the household. We were deeply concerned for his resource guarding and occasional aggression. Tasty boarded with Jeryl for a few months wherein Jeryl really took the time to understand his personality, triggers and consequently set up habits and routines that we could apply for when Tasty returns home. Consistent application of Jeryl’s advice has helped abate Tasty’s guarding tendencies and created a harmonious environment with our toddler. Now we are working with Jeryl on Tasty’s anxiety and excessive barking which has exacerbated over time. We appreciate how Jeryl always provides an explanation of Tasty’s behavior and discusses with us a range of options that we can take that can suit our particular context.
