About Ann Tutor
Ann Tutor is a private tutoring service listed under Education on KakiList, operating islandwide across Singapore. The listing has been verified by KakiList, confirming that operating details and contact channels are active. It holds a 5-out-of-5 rating across 48 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that offers a reasonable directional signal of client satisfaction. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though a specific per-session or monthly fee has not been published; prospective families should enquire directly for a quote.
When reaching out to Ann Tutor, it helps to come prepared with details about the student's current school level, the subject or syllabus requiring support (for example, MOE Primary, O-Level, IP, or IGCSE), and any particular areas of difficulty. Families can make contact via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form. It is worth asking whether sessions are conducted one-to-one or in small groups, whether tuition takes place at the Burlington Square office, at the student's home, or online, and whether there is any term commitment involved. Confirming lesson frequency and any materials fees upfront will help avoid surprises.
The clearest next step is to send a WhatsApp message or complete the enquiry form stating the student's level and subject, then request a trial class to assess whether the teaching approach and pace are a good fit before committing to ongoing sessions. Listing data is incomplete — contact Ann Tutor directly to confirm details.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Excellent and all-rounded tuition centre. Provides tuition of a variety of subjects with highly dedicated and amazing teachers! They are extremely helpful and do their best to help you whatever problem you have. The teachers’ teaching style is unique and they can adjust the lessons to the topics that you are facing difficulty in.
My tutor is nice caring and supportive and she’s a very good teacher and help brush up my math. She goes the extra mile in guiding me. Highly recommended.
I go to tuition here for Math lessons. Ms Yvonne Chen is very helpful and patient with her students and always stops to ensure everyone understands the content fully before continuing. Under her guidance and help my math results have steadily improved and i strongly recommend anyone looking for tuition to attend Future Academy.
I attended class here when my GPA for math was very bad. In Y2 I managed to get a 4.0 after one year of lessons! Very grateful for the entertaining and enriching lessons. There is also good use of digital tools to enhance learning, even if one cannot make it physically, they are able to attend the lesson online in a way that is equally educational.
It is amazing, the teachers are great there and I really enjoyed it. I really recommend it because it helped me with my math a lot and it is a very good place to learn. I think it was very good that I chose to go here because it was so worth it. I felt very safe and I could ask any question, and they would help explain how to get to the answers. I think that it was very amazing that they print sheets for you to work on based on what your doing and I think that was a thing I had never seen before. I think they have amazing teachers and the teachers would sit down with you and explain each question you did not understand. It really helped me improve in math and I think it got me more confident in myself and not wondering if I was right, and instead knowing I am right. It was really great and I think Ms. Chen is a great teacher.

Ann Tutor has not published a specific per-session rate, so families should enquire directly for a personalised quote. Pricing in Singapore's private tutoring market typically varies by the student's level (primary, secondary, JC), the subject, and whether sessions are one-to-one or in a small group. One-to-one tuition generally commands a premium over group sessions, and some tutors charge a separate materials or assessment fee. Ask whether the provider offers a monthly package or term-based commitment that may work out to a lower effective rate per session. Sibling discounts, if applicable, are also worth raising at the enquiry stage. See the full Private Tutors cost guide for Singapore →
It is reasonable to request a trial class before signing up for a term or ongoing sessions, and many private tutors in Singapore accommodate this — sometimes at a reduced fee or at the standard per-session rate. Use the trial to observe whether the tutor explains concepts clearly, adjusts to the student's pace, and engages the student rather than simply working through a worksheet. Assess level appropriateness as well: the material should be neither too straightforward nor overwhelmingly difficult. It is also a good opportunity to gauge communication style, as consistent rapport between tutor and student tends to have a meaningful impact on progress over time. Ask Ann Tutor directly about their trial class policy and whether any commitment follows from attending.
Ann Tutor has not published specific qualifications, NIE or MOE teaching background, or academic degrees on this listing. Families are encouraged to ask directly about the tutor's educational background, any prior teaching or tutoring experience, and familiarity with the relevant syllabus — whether that is MOE, IB, IGCSE, or another curriculum. If you are seeking support for a high-stakes examination such as PSLE, O-Levels, or A-Levels, it is particularly important to confirm that the tutor has direct experience with the current syllabus format and marking scheme, as these can change between examination cycles. Raise these questions during your initial enquiry or at the trial class stage before committing to a term.
