About Anteh Dispensary Geylang
Anteh Dispensary Geylang is a general practice clinic located at 1 Lorong 22 Geylang, serving patients across Singapore. The listing is KakiList-verified, confirming active operations and contact details. It holds a 4.3/5 rating across 465 Google reviews, a robust sample that provides reasonable confidence in patient experience. No regulatory licences are currently listed in this directory entry, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed here — both should be verified directly with the clinic before booking. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), consistent with typical GP consultation fees of S$25–60 at private general practice clinics.
For a first visit, patients typically walk in or call ahead to check queue length, as most GP clinics in Singapore operate on a walk-in basis without advance appointments for acute presentations. Bring your NRIC or FIN, your Integrated Shield Plan (IP) insurer card if applicable, and a list of current medications. For chronic conditions covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — including hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders — MediSave 500 or 700 outpatient withdrawal can be applied at CDMP-enrolled clinics. If a specialist referral is needed, the GP can issue a referral letter to a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic, which reduces consultation fees for Singapore Citizens via the subsidised pathway.
To arrange a visit, contact Anteh Dispensary Geylang by phone or through the enquiry form listed on this page to confirm current operating hours before attending.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
I did my LPA Certification here. Prompt and spontaneous service by staff team Miss Diyana, Miss Angel, Miss Andrea and Miss Yoga. Shout out to Miss Diyana whom is very patience and knowledgeable in explaining the LPA process to me and my mum. Dr Chai also assured us that we can always get back to them with any questions. The clinic is situated at neighbourhood area making it affordable and convenient for all. Their medical standard is top notch. When I was there to do my LPA, I observed that as soon as a patient was there due to any flu like symptoms they immediately request them to put on a mask. Thank you for the spontaneous and thoughtful service.
I have been to many clinic!!! This is the most worst I have come across!!! They will force you to come to just review the lab report! And then make stand outside saying wait; never tell to Q up then later claim have to follow Q; and when in actual fact when I came earlier the staff should have bothered to find out why am I here and how to help!!! I am a paying customer and I was treated very badly!!! The lady’s tone was ‘GO OUT WE OPEN AT 2pm’ and I was there at 1pm. I tried to explain and she cut me repeating the same sentence. Then when I stood outside at the door; I saw a few more start sitting on the chairs at the far right… when the clinic opened at 2pm when I tried to go in to the counter the same Indian lady; told me k have to register and follow the Q!!! Omg !!! she should have told me that earlier right?!! When I came to visit the doctor 2 days back! The staff informed can come back ANYTIME AT MY CONVENIENCE WHEN THEY ARE OPEN !!!! But I feel so inconvenienced!!!! The attitude of the staffs all very poor … registration was so slow! And the other lady that was registering me; did not even look at my face; looked down at her laptop after registrating me and said ‘ YOU WAIT’ what kind of communication is this!!! People will talk to their Dogs better and here I am a paying customer treated like this?!!! Pls don’t go there …. Quite obvious all these staffs are very unprofessional in their dealings with customers …. They fail to realise that they are the FACE of the clinic!!! Hope the clinic management will take my feedback seriously and WISE UP their staffs … I think they are always handling foreigners and so having a poor service attitude!! Just remember… whether local or forgeiners treat all with dignity!!! For all I know; these 2 Indian ladies could be foreigners themselves because; locals will not behave like how they behaved!!!! WORST CLINIC!!! ALSO VERY VERY PRICY!!! Imagine paying more than other clinics and ended up treated this bad!!! LOL - I wished I could give 0 Stars!!!but I can’t, coz I have to give at least 1 star to POST!!!
Good experience. The staff knows the drill well so the process and smooth and orderly though there is some waiting time. Nurse Andrea attended to us for our LPA and she is friendly, patient and guide us through the process well. Doctor is also nice with a cool funky spec 😉 Will recommend
Made a visit to this clinic for the first time, on Sunday. Process was smooth and efficient. The staff was professional and though not overtly friendly (thats too cringey anyways), they showcased diligence in their role. Doctor was attentive. I guess he is very experienced in his field that he knows the diagnosis just after some questions and a quick body check. All in all, a recommended clinic to go to. PS: Understand that the clinic is small. But the registration counter perhaps need to be placed so that the wall is at the back of it? Notice that when I am being registered, the patients sitting, were all looking at the laptop, peering through my details. haha.
A experience few days back:- We booked two appointments for the LPA at 3:15pm. We arrived at 2:40pm we followed the queue outside in the hot weather. Around 2:50 pm, I noticed there were empty seats inside, but when I approached the staff at the counter, she still told us to wait outside. Even by the time of our appointment, we had not been registered. The only staff member available at that time was sitting inside at the clinic counter instead of coming out to handle registration. Even when people approached her, she simply told everyone to wait outside at the empty temporary table set up at the entrance. We thought making appointments through the government website would ensure a good experience, but it turned out to be terrible, with zero customer service or care from the staff. They only apologised during the registration process, which was far too late. Worst of all, the person who conducted the LPA process was not a doctor but a regular staff member—hopefully a nurse. Thankfully, this nurse and the doctor on duty were both nice and friendly.

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with the final fee depending on the presenting condition, duration of the consultation, and any medications or investigations ordered. Common add-ons include prescriptions (S$5–30 depending on the drug and quantity), basic investigations such as a blood glucose or lipid panel (S$30–80), and a medical certificate if required. For Singapore Citizens and PRs on the Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) or Merdeka Generation and Pioneer Generation packages, subsidised rates apply at enrolled CHAS clinics — confirm with the clinic whether CHAS is accepted. MediSave can be used for outpatient consultations at CDMP-enrolled clinics up to S$500–700 per year for listed chronic conditions. GST applies on private medical services. No regulatory licences are currently listed for Anteh Dispensary Geylang in this directory entry. Every legitimate GP clinic should hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; search by name to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. Contact the clinic directly to request the clinic licence number and the consulting doctor's SMC registration number, then cross-check both on the respective public registers before your first appointment. Neither the clinic licence nor the SMC entry alone is sufficient — both should be confirmed. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life primarily cover inpatient and day-surgery costs; outpatient GP consultations are generally not covered by IPs unless a rider specifically includes outpatient benefits. MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment of chronic conditions listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — including hypertension, type 2 diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, and several others — at enrolled CDMP clinics, up to S$500 per year (or S$700 for selected conditions). Confirm with Anteh Dispensary Geylang whether the clinic is CDMP-enrolled before expecting MediSave deductions at the counter. For any planned procedure or investigation, request a pre-treatment financial estimate that separates the insurance-claimable portion, any MediSave deduction, and your out-of-pocket amount in writing. CHAS cardholders should bring their card as subsidies are applied at point of payment and cannot typically be backdated after billing is closed.
