Families considering Apple Pie Language's holiday camps would typically enquire about the language focus and level appropriateness for their child's age and current proficiency. Camps are structured around school holiday periods, so it is worth confirming which upcoming intake is available, whether sessions are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, and what the programme duration and daily schedule look like. Parents should also ask whether there is a trial or taster session before committing to a full camp, what materials or resources are included in the fee, and whether the camp is available online or exclusively at the Chun Tin Road premises.
To take the next step, reach out to Apple Pie Language directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about upcoming holiday camp dates, available age groups, and current pricing before places fill up.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My child attended Apple Pie for a year and had a wonderful experience. The principal, teachers and administrators are caring, patient, and reliable. The lessons, activities and materials are thoughtfully crafted, creating an engaging learning environment. This positive experience has helped my child develop a genuine love for learning Chinese. They also shared updates, pictures and videos during the lessons that made me feel at ease. My older child also attended the speech and drama lessons at the school and thoroughly enjoyed them.
My son has been attending class for 2 terms now and he looks forward to every lesson. Teachers and admin staff are all very friendly, nurturing and warm. Teacher will call you on the first and last lesson to brief you about your child. As it is a drop off class, I'm not too sure what is being taught or how my child is performing, so it helps to be able to speak with teacher directly. Only concern is the physical location of center with the long narrow staircase leading up to entrance, it gets very crowded and difficult to fetch/drop off at the hour.
There is a dedicated team of patient teachers, assistants and principals to welcome each and every child. Patient to handle my 3 YO with separation anxiety. Dedicated to encouraging my non-mandarin speaking 6 YO fall in love with the language that he requests for extra classes. They enjoy the pace and activities. It is a warm and inviting school that is wonderful. Wish they had classes for older kids. Sad to graduate soon. Thank you Qing Wen, Kai Ern and Daphne Lao Shi for your care and concern. Sean and Finn love their Saturday mornings at Apple Pie! Thank you Ms Betty for handling all my endless and anxious questions. 🤩
My 2 daughters are currently attending Apple pie enrichment and speech and drama and they enjoy it greatly! Their confidence level in terms of speaking and performing has soared and they always come back singing! The teachers are also extremely engaging and caring and they show much enthusiasm in getting the children involved. We are v happy with the progress :)
My kids all LOVE going to Apple Pie Language. I cannot recommend their programmes highly enough. They make learning Chinese fun - my kids are much more confident and comfortable with Mandarin now. The teachers are warm and well-versed in their subject matter, and the student-teacher ratio is really good. The principal is understanding and down to earth. The curriculum is interesting and focuses on cultivating a love of the language rather than just pushing grades, which is much better in the long run. The costs are reasonable, the admin is so easy to communicate with, and the location is super convenient (right next to the train station & carpark!). 10/10 would recommend

Apple Pie Language's pricing is listed at the '$$' band, which typically indicates a mid-range positioning for enrichment providers in Singapore. Holiday camp fees are commonly structured as a per-camp package rather than a per-session rate — expect to pay for the full camp block, which may span three to five days or a full week, with materials sometimes included. It is worth asking about any sibling discounts, early-bird rates, or multi-camp package deals when you enquire. Confirm whether the quoted fee covers all materials and resources for the duration of the camp. See the full holiday camp cost guide for Singapore →
Holiday camps at Apple Pie Language run over a fixed block period, so a standalone trial class may not always be available in the traditional sense. However, it is reasonable to ask whether the provider offers a taster session or an introductory day before you commit to the full camp fee. When assessing fit, consider whether the language level is appropriate for your child, how the facilitator engages the group, and whether the content aligns with your learning goals. Speaking to the instructor directly before enrolment can help set expectations on pace, group size, and teaching approach.
Details about the teaching team's qualifications are not publicly listed at this time. When enquiring, it is worth asking whether facilitators hold relevant language degrees, teaching certifications, or prior MOE or classroom experience, and how many years they have been delivering holiday camp programmes. For language enrichment specifically, ask whether the curriculum aligns with MOE syllabus expectations or follows an independent enrichment framework. Confirming the instructor's background directly with Apple Pie Language before booking is advisable.
