About aquaDucks
aquaDucks is a swimming school operating under the Education category, listed on KakiList with verified status and ACRA registration. Based at Mountbatten Centre in Singapore, the school covers learners islandwide and holds a perfect 5-out-of-5 rating across 36 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that is encouraging but worth treating with some caution. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific session or programme fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the provider.
For families considering enrolment, the typical first step is to enquire about level and age-group fit — aquaDucks likely offers structured swim progression from beginner stages through to more confident independent swimming. Parents should ask whether classes are group-based or available on a one-to-one basis, confirm which syllabus or framework the programme follows, and check whether a trial session is available before committing to a term. It is also worth clarifying the class schedule, pool location details, and whether makeup lessons are offered for absences. Group class sizes can affect the pace of progress, so asking about the swimmer-to-instructor ratio is advisable.
To take the next step, reach out to aquaDucks via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current class availability, age and ability groupings, and trial class options before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the instructor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
We’ve had a great experience with Coach Carmie — she’s incredibly patient, encouraging, and knows how to connect with young kids. Emery always looks forward to his swimming lessons thanks to her gentle and supportive approach. The pool facilities are also excellent — clean, well-organized, and modern, making it a comfortable and safe environment for children to learn in.
Ben has been doing swimming lessons with Coach Fadzly and it's his favourite time of the week! We look forward to his classes every Sunday. Thank you Coach Fadzly, I hope you know how meaningful your role is to our children's lives!
Sheltere indoor pool at Mount Batten. Temperature controlled water, shower and changing facilities with lockers and baby changing station, ample parking spots. We have had Coach Carmie for years and she has always been great with our daughter. Location is s bit further out east for us compared to the now closed Newton location. Other than this factor, all else is great.
The physical environment here definitely better than most swim schools I've seen in Singapore. It's indoors and airy. My kid's been with coach Darren for a couple of years now and he's progressing quickly, especially because of the relatively high teacher-student ratio (there aren't that many students here yet since it's still a hidden gem).
My kids have been with AquaDucks for the past three years, and we are very thankful to have met Coach Carmie. She is patient, caring, and highly experienced in teaching children how to swim. When my younger son first started, he was extremely afraid of swimming lessons—often having meltdowns by the pool and refusing to enter. Since Coach Carmie became his coach, he has made great progress and now genuinely enjoys his weekly lessons. So, when Coach Carmie transferred from the Newton pool (due to its closure) to Mountbatten, we followed her—even though it meant my two sons’ lessons were no longer back-to-back. Coach Carmie is truly a gem, and well worth the extra logistics. We are deeply grateful for all that she’s done!

aquaDucks displays a mid-range ($$) price indicator, but specific per-session or monthly package fees are not publicly listed. Swimming schools in Singapore typically charge S$30–60 per group session or S$80–150 for one-to-one lessons, with term packages often offering a slight discount over pay-per-session rates. There may also be a registration or enrolment fee, and some providers charge separately for swim caps or materials. Sibling discounts or multi-class bundle pricing may be available — confirm these directly with aquaDucks before enrolment. See the full Sport & Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many swimming schools in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee, so it is worth asking aquaDucks whether this is available for your child's age and ability group. A trial session lets you assess whether the teaching style suits your child, whether the class pace and level are appropriate, and how the instructor manages group dynamics in the water. When attending a trial, observe how the instructor engages with less confident swimmers and whether the progression feels structured. Use the session to ask about the syllabus, milestone markers, and how the school communicates progress to parents between terms.
Specific instructor credentials are not listed publicly for aquaDucks. For swimming schools, relevant qualifications to ask about include Swim England, Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS), or Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) teaching certifications, as well as current first aid and lifesaving accreditation. It is also reasonable to ask how long the lead instructors have been teaching, whether they have experience with specific age groups such as toddlers or beginners, and whether the school follows a recognised swim-progression framework. Contact aquaDucks directly to request this information before enrolling.
