About aquaDucks Swim School

About aquaDucks Swim School

aquaDucks Swim School is a swimming and aquatics education provider based at Mountbatten Centre, offering holiday camps to families across Singapore. The school is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, and holds a 5/5 rating across 36 Google reviews — a moderate sample that suggests consistent positive feedback, though prospective families should read individual reviews for detail. Pricing sits in the mid-range ($$) for the Singapore swim school market; no specific per-session fee was provided at the time of listing.

Families enquiring about holiday camps should clarify the age group and swimming ability level their child is starting from, as aquatics programmes typically span beginner non-swimmers through to stroke refinement. Confirm whether the camp runs as a group session or allows smaller group instruction, the session length and number of sessions included in a camp package, the pool venue and whether the Mountbatten Centre pool is used, and what safety qualifications the instructors hold (such as AUSTSWIM, RLSS, or SSA certification). Ask whether equipment such as kickboards or flotation aids is provided, and whether any makeup or catch-up sessions are available if your child misses a day.

To find out current holiday camp dates, availability, and pricing, contact aquaDucks Swim School directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form listed on this page.

We’ve had a great experience with Coach Carmie — she’s incredibly patient, encouraging, and knows how to connect with young kids. Emery always looks forward to his swimming lessons thanks to her gentle and supportive approach. The pool facilities are also excellent — clean, well-organized, and modern, making it a comfortable and safe environment for children to learn in.

Ben has been doing swimming lessons with Coach Fadzly and it's his favourite time of the week! We look forward to his classes every Sunday. Thank you Coach Fadzly, I hope you know how meaningful your role is to our children's lives!

Sheltere indoor pool at Mount Batten. Temperature controlled water, shower and changing facilities with lockers and baby changing station, ample parking spots. We have had Coach Carmie for years and she has always been great with our daughter. Location is s bit further out east for us compared to the now closed Newton location. Other than this factor, all else is great.

The physical environment here definitely better than most swim schools I've seen in Singapore. It's indoors and airy. My kid's been with coach Darren for a couple of years now and he's progressing quickly, especially because of the relatively high teacher-student ratio (there aren't that many students here yet since it's still a hidden gem).

My kids have been with AquaDucks for the past three years, and we are very thankful to have met Coach Carmie. She is patient, caring, and highly experienced in teaching children how to swim. When my younger son first started, he was extremely afraid of swimming lessons—often having meltdowns by the pool and refusing to enter. Since Coach Carmie became his coach, he has made great progress and now genuinely enjoys his weekly lessons. So, when Coach Carmie transferred from the Newton pool (due to its closure) to Mountbatten, we followed her—even though it meant my two sons’ lessons were no longer back-to-back. Coach Carmie is truly a gem, and well worth the extra logistics. We are deeply grateful for all that she’s done!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does aquaDucks Swim School charge per session?

aquaDucks Swim School is listed at a mid-range price point ($$), but a specific per-session or per-camp fee was not published at the time of this listing. Holiday camp pricing in Singapore for swim schools typically varies depending on the number of sessions in the package, group size, and the age or ability group involved. It is worth asking whether the quoted price covers the full camp block or is charged per session, and whether there is a separate registration or materials fee. Contact aquaDucks directly via WhatsApp or phone for a current price list before committing. See the full Holiday Camps cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing?

Many swim schools in Singapore offer a trial or assessment session before a family commits to a full holiday camp block. A trial gives you a chance to gauge how well your child responds to the instructors, whether the level is appropriately pitched, and whether the pool environment suits your child's comfort. Contact aquaDucks Swim School directly to ask whether a trial or assessment session is available, what it costs, and how it feeds into placement for the holiday camp programme. This step is particularly useful for younger children or those who are new to formal swim instruction.

What are the instructors' credentials at aquaDucks Swim School?

No regulatory licence is required for swim schools under Singapore's current framework, so instructor qualifications are a key differentiator to ask about directly. Relevant credentials to look for include AUSTSWIM (Australian swim teaching qualification recognised widely in Singapore), Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) awards, or Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) coaching certification. First-aid and CPR certification is a baseline expectation for any pool instructor. aquaDucks Swim School did not list specific instructor credentials on this profile. We recommend asking the school directly about the qualifications of the instructor assigned to your child's camp group before booking.
