When reaching out, it helps to share your pet's size, breed, coat type, and temperament upfront, as these factors typically influence session length and pricing. Vaccination records are usually required before any grooming or training session, so have those ready when you make an enquiry. If your pet has not been to a grooming school before, ask whether a trial visit is available to help your animal acclimatise to the environment. Clarify whether you will be dropping your pet off at the Siglap Drive premises or whether mobile or outreach arrangements are possible, and discuss how often sessions should be scheduled to maintain progress.
The most direct next step is to reach out via WhatsApp or phone to describe your pet's profile, confirm current availability, and ask about session formats and pricing before committing to a booking.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
When I first started learning pet grooming, I was quite nervous, but this academy quickly put me at ease. The instructor gives very detailed and thoughtful coaching, and what I appreciate most is that we practice on real dogs in every class. The lessons go beyond just techniques—they also teach you how to understand each dog’s temperament and condition, which makes the learning experience very professional and practical. Some people might feel that the pace of teaching is a bit slow, but I’ve come to appreciate it. The instructor takes time to make sure every foundation is taught correctly, and because of that, I’ve been able to gain real confidence, especially with scissoring. Since my English is not very strong, I was worried about communication, but having a Korean instructor has made a huge difference. I can follow along clearly, learn at my own pace, and focus on the lessons without stress. Another highlight is the personalized teaching. Each student receives individual guidance, and the instructor carefully points out both strengths and areas to improve, which is incredibly helpful. The overall atmosphere is warm and supportive while still being well-structured. I feel comfortable asking questions, and the instructor patiently explains even the small details—from grooming techniques to handling dogs with care. Thanks to this, I’ve gained not only skills but also confidence as a future groomer. I highly recommend this academy to anyone who is just starting out or who wants to build strong, practical grooming skills. It’s truly a place where you can learn with confidence and passion.
Joining Art of Pets grooming school will have to be one of the best decisions i’ve made. Teacher Park is always very informative and will not hesitate to give honest advice to help his students improve. Under his guidance, i definitely see improvement in my handling and skills!
I’ve been grooming since 2021 and have been learning under the same Korean teacher, Mr Park, ever since. Being a groomer really takes a lot of patience, and Mr Park sets clear expectations for his students from the start. You won’t be given a dog to groom right away - he focuses a lot on the basics and proper understanding before letting you handle pups. It might feel slow at first, but it really helps you build a strong foundation. Overall, I’ve gained many valuable experiences and opportunities through his guidance. Mr Park is strict but patient, and you can tell he genuinely wants his students to do well. I’d definitely recommend Art of Pets if you’re thinking of starting a grooming career or just want to learn to groom your own pet :)
Over the past three months, I have had the privilege of learning pet grooming skills from Mr. Park with great care and detail. In such a short time, my skills have improved tremendously, and I am truly honored to walk through this journey of certification and growth as a future pet groomer under his guidance. The academy itself is also very well-managed, and I really appreciate that the dogs here are well taken care of. Another huge advantage is being able to practice on real dogs during every class, which makes the learning experience even more valuable. Overall, I would highly recommend this academy to anyone who wishes to learn pet grooming👍
As shown in pics, a relatively easy corner shop that you can drop off & pick up your pet easily. Opening hours state 10am, but due to the first appointment slot being at 10:15am, they do not always open on time. Best to call this emergency number stated here if you are in a rush & need to do a 10am sharp. 3rd time dropping off our pet dog here, & we’ve enjoyed their online booking system, grooming services & service standards. Would highly recommend residents around this area to engage them if you are looking for a pet groomer ☺️

Most reputable grooming and training facilities in Singapore require dogs to be current on their core DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies vaccinations, with records dated within the past 12 months. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is also commonly required, particularly where animals from multiple households are present in the same space. For cats, the FVRCP combination vaccine is the standard requirement. Bring your pet's vaccination booklet or a vet-issued certificate to your first appointment. If your pet's jabs are overdue, schedule a vet visit before making a booking, as facilities will generally turn away unvaccinated animals to protect all pets on the premises. Contact Art of Pets Grooming School directly to confirm their specific vaccination policy before your visit.
Art of Pets Grooming School is ACRA-registered and KakiList-verified, confirming it operates as a legitimate business entity in Singapore. No specific Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) licences are listed on the current profile; if AVS licensing is important to you — particularly for any boarding-adjacent services — ask the provider directly for documentation. On the question of insurance, it is worth asking whether the school carries cover for incidents such as a pet being injured, falling ill, or escaping during a session. Reputable providers will have a clear protocol for handling such situations, including notification procedures and liability terms. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
