About ARThausSG

About ARThausSG

ARThausSG is an art education provider offering holiday camps, based at 901A Bukit Timah Road and serving families islandwide. The business is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It carries a 4.2/5 rating across 14 Google reviews, though the sample size is small and should be treated as directional only. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$), though no specific per-session or per-camp fee has been published.

Families looking to enrol a child in a holiday camp would typically reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to confirm upcoming camp dates, age groups catered to, and whether the programme level suits the child's experience. Art holiday camps generally run as multi-day blocks rather than recurring weekly sessions, so it is worth clarifying the full camp schedule, what materials are provided, the group size, and the supervising instructor's background before booking. Asking about the maximum number of participants per camp and the age range kept together will help you judge whether the environment suits your child.

To take the next step, contact ARThausSG directly via WhatsApp or the enquiry form to request the current holiday camp schedule, fees, and availability for your preferred dates.

My daughter loves her weekly art class with Carolyn. She gets to learn the proper technique of painting all whilst creating her very own composition. Carolyn never fails to show her the strokes, layering and details that gradually improve her skills. We are very grateful to have found such a welcoming and dedicated space for aspiring artists. Thank you!

Supposed to be guided but the teacher was not guiding at all. She just walked around and watch. Blame when the paint was not mixed properly. Isn’t that her job to teach? She told my girls if you don’t bring back the paintings. She will throw away. The Art experience was totally sucks.. In addition, the painting was not covered with a layer of gloss as compared to other Art studio. Please don’t go there, take my advice. Your day will be ruined. Don’t even worth a star.

Brought my gf to try out art jamming with Arthaus for her birthday activity. Even though it was supposed to be guided, I would say the amount of guidance was definitely much less than expected. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, I guess there must be some form of freedom and exploration when it comes to art. But what do I know, I am an art idiot! Nonetheless, staff at Arthaus was very very friendly. Thanks for helping me touch up my terrible painting so it can be slightly more presentable and also for encouraging me by saying that it looks like modern art? Hahaha, I know it was just consolation but thanks. Would highly recommend Arthaus to anyone and definitely would promote it strongly to my friends and family. No scenic view from the premise but surrounded by art pieces that I look on with envy. No shortage of art tools as well.

I give credit where credit is due. So if the place, product and service are good, I give 5 stars and highly recommend the place. I called Arthaus to enquire about the classes and the call was answered by its owner, Carolyn. It was an unpleasant experience. She was unwelcoming and tart. I will take my business elsewhere, thank you. If you are having a good day and suddenly feel like getting talked down to, please call Arthaus.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does ARThausSG charge per session?

ARThausSG has not published a specific per-session or per-camp fee publicly, but its pricing is indicated as mid-range ($$) for Singapore's art enrichment market. Holiday camp programmes are typically priced as a block rather than per individual session — expect to see a total camp fee covering two to five consecutive days, with materials either included or itemised separately. Common extras to clarify before booking include whether art materials and aprons are provided, whether there is a sibling discount, and whether a deposit is required to secure the place. A trial or single-day option may or may not be available depending on the camp format. See the full Holiday Camps cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing?

Holiday camp programmes at providers like ARThausSG are often structured as a block booking rather than drop-in sessions, which means a standalone trial class may not always be available in the traditional sense. It is worth asking ARThausSG directly whether they offer a taster day, a refund if the camp does not suit your child after the first session, or the option to join a shorter camp before a longer one. When assessing fit, consider the age grouping, the type of art explored (drawing, mixed media, sculpture, digital), and whether the pace is structured or exploratory — each suits different learners. Asking to see past camp work or reading through the programme outline before paying will help set expectations.

What are the tutor's credentials?

ARThausSG has not published information about the instructors' formal qualifications or teaching backgrounds on its public listing. For art enrichment providers, relevant signals to look for include a fine arts or design degree, prior teaching experience with children in the relevant age group, and familiarity with local school or IGCSE/IB art syllabuses if curriculum alignment matters to you. It is advisable to ask ARThausSG directly about the lead instructor's background, how many years they have been running camps for children, and the ratio of instructors to participants per camp. This is especially important for younger children who may need closer supervision during hands-on art activities.
