I recently engaged Artrend, with Kelvin as my project lead, for a series of renovation works in my home, and I’m extremely satisfied with the results. The project included building a small study/bedroom for my son, repainting the entire space, constructing a new staircase, installing air-conditioning, and custom-making a wardrobe and bookshelves. From the start, Kelvin was professional, responsive, and attentive to every detail. He took the time to understand our needs and helped refine our ideas with practical suggestions. Throughout the project, he kept us updated with clear communication, progress photos, and timely coordination with the various teams involved. The workmanship delivered by Artrend has been consistently high-quality—the new study/bedroom is beautifully done, the stairs are sturdy with clean finishing, and the custom wardrobe and bookshelves look fantastic and are built to last. The painting and aircon installation were also completed neatly and efficiently. Most importantly, Kelvin ensured everything was completed on schedule with minimal disruption to our daily routines. Overall, I’m very pleased with the outcome and truly appreciate Kelvin’s dedication and professionalism. I got to know Kelvin because our company needed to carry out reinstatement works. From the reinstatement of our old office to the renovation of our new office, Kelvin was the person I worked with throughout the entire process. The first time I met him, he came across as a very kind and trustworthy elderly gentleman. During the project, Kelvin’s team provided daily progress updates on the reinstatement works. At that time, we only had one month left before the reinstatement deadline. We contacted more than five renovation companies, but all of them said it was impossible to complete the reinstatement within such a short timeframe and eventually declined the job. Our company had even started preparing to pay the late reinstatement penalty. At that critical moment, Kelvin stepped in and signed the contract with us. He was even willing to take on the responsibility of paying Capitaland’s daily penalty charges if his team failed to complete the reinstatement within one month. It was essentially a mission impossible — but Kelvin and his team actually made it happen. They divided into multiple teams, worked overtime every day, and managed to complete the reinstatement on time. Not only that, the works passed Capitaland’s inspection smoothly. I was truly grateful for their effort and professionalism. Later, when we started planning for the renovation of our new office, Kelvin was the first person I contacted. From the initial layout drawings, to site inspection and measurement, all the way to the final completion, he remained professional, attentive, and reliable. I am extremely satisfied with how the new office turned out. I genuinely regret not meeting Kelvin earlier. If I had known him sooner, I would have asked him to renovate my own HDB as well. If the full score is 100, I would give him infinite points — hahaha! Thank you, Kelvin. I highly recommend him and his team. They are truly an excellent and trustworthy renovation company.

Engaged ARTrend Design to make 2 adult-sized wardrobes, a bookshelf and a cabinet for the living rooms with specific dimensions to fit my kitchen gadgets. Kelvin, Boss of ARTrend, came down personally to covert my requirements into drawings and sent his worker to oversee the project as I had to travel for work. Good finishing. The kids were too excited to start packing and arranging. Steps towards self-house keeping.

ARTrend Interior Design, founded by Kelvin Chua, has been around for more than 30 years and that by itself speaks volume of an established design house managed by a very experienced founder and team! This is my 2nd time engaging ARTrend to design and renovate my new apartment after a first awesome experience working with them some 10 years ago. They left me with a lasting good impression then and therefore, I had no qualms using them a second time round. My last home also managed to fetch a good price at the current property market and that was largely due to the classic interior design and layout created by ARTrend then! This time round, Kelvin personally saw through my home design and renovation works. He is not only meticulous, responsible and patient, he is also very open to new ideas and provided timely advice and alternatives, while keeping budget and design practicality in mind. My final home design and renovation turned out as beautiful as what they had created in the 3D drawings at the beginning. My friends and relatives also gave praise to the intricate and beautiful carpentry and granite works created in the living area, toilets and bedrooms. Kelvin and his team (namely Victor and Jim) were also very responsive to all my calls and whatsapp queries during the renovation period and they remained contactable at all times. Even though there were some work delays due to Covid restrictions that was not in anyone’s control, I was constantly updated on progress and that really gave me assurance that my home renovation was in good hands. Even after we took over the new apartment for a few months already, Kelvin and team still respond to me on some small issues that popped up in the apartment and this goes to show professional aftercare service and support. My parents had used ARTrend and Kelvin many, many years ago to design and renovate our house. Needing to redesign a room from a study room to a new bedroom, needless to say, we once again approached Kelvin and his team to help us come up with a design, and help bring it to life, with some input regarding closet design and color scheme from our side. We were impressed by his designs and suggestions. Special shoutout to Jim as well who was the onsite manager and helped us to relay all our queries and request to the other sub contractors. The process was quick and efficient and the room was complete within a few weeks, in time for the wedding and marriage. If you want a good ID firm who is reliable and effective, do approach ARTtrend.
