I was experiencing tooth sensitivity when drinking cold or warm water, along with a slight pulling sensation while eating. Thankfully, the clinic managed to slot me in on a Sunday. Dr Danesh attended to me and performed scaling and polishing. He was knowledgeable, patient, and very gentle throughout the procedure. I could immediately feel that my tooth sensitivity had improved after the treatment. As someone who tends to be quite particular about hygiene, I was also reassured when Dr Danesh explained that all equipment was properly sterilised and that a new set of instruments was used for every patient.. The clinic does have a more premium positioning, so the prices are higher compared to many other dental clinics, but the professionalism and service quality were good.
I had a wisdom tooth extraction here. Dr Cindy Koh was friendly and thoroughly explained the entire process, which really calmed my nerves. The procedure was smooth and efficient. Highly recommended!
Fairly alarming that there haven't been any negative reviews recently. The setting of the place is nice and in general, the service provided was fairly okay. However, the prices here are extremely steep, even with a corporate rate, it is still at least twice the price of many other professional dental clinics. If you don't have any discounts whatsoever, I cannot imagine how much it would cost. Would recommend that potential visitors do your due diligence to check up other clinics' prices, definitely would go a long way!
Went to get my teeth checked. Need to clean and did and xray to find out that there were several decays on teeth. A bit pain but bearable for the cleaning. Need to go back again for the filling because there was bloods when did cleaning. Price wise a bit ok, not that cheap not that expensive. Not much queue because I came on an appointment. The dentist was good, she did a good job cleaning. I felt my teeth clean but still a bit pain on my gum, came go get gum checked but I got cleaned first instead.
I had a really positive experience at Ashford Dental Centre today. From the very first call, Atiqah at reception was outstanding — friendly, professional, and empathetic. She patiently explained all the medications to me without rushing, and she helped secure a same-day appointment, which I truly appreciated. Dr. Danesh was the reason I felt so reassured. He was extremely knowledgeable, never impatient, and explained all my options clearly. He walked me through each step of the procedure while also giving me his professional advice, which built a lot of trust and made me feel I was in safe hands. Nurse Nitha was kind and attentive throughout, especially when assisting with multiple X-ray scans. She made sure I was comfortable, even helping me clean my face and mouth, which showed genuine care. Overall, the whole team worked together seamlessly to make my visit smooth and stress-free. I felt supported, cared for, and respected at every step. I highly recommend Ashford Dental Centre to anyone looking for excellent dental care.

Dental fees in Singapore vary considerably by procedure. A routine consultation and examination typically runs S$30–80, a scale and polish S$60–150, tooth extraction S$80–300 (surgical extractions higher), tooth fillings S$80–250 per tooth depending on material, and more involved treatments such as root canal therapy S$800–1,500 or dental implants S$3,000–6,000 per implant. Ashford Dental Centre (Serangoon) is listed at a moderate price point, though specific fee schedules are not published — confirm the full cost of your planned treatment, including any X-rays and follow-up visits, in writing before proceeding. GST applies to dental consultations and procedures. CHAS subsidies (for eligible Singapore Citizens and PRs), MediSave (for approved surgical procedures), and company dental benefits may reduce your out-of-pocket cost — ask the clinic which of these they accept. Most dental clinics, including general practice dental centres, accept direct bookings without a GP referral. Your first visit will typically include a clinical examination and, where indicated, dental X-rays to give the dentist a complete picture before recommending treatment. If you are attending for a specific concern — tooth pain, gum sensitivity, a chipped tooth, or cosmetic enquiries — note the symptoms and when they started, as this helps the dentist triage promptly. Patients with complex medical histories (blood thinners, diabetes, heart conditions, or prior radiation to the head and neck) should mention these at the point of booking, as the clinic may wish to liaise with your GP or specialist before certain procedures. No referral letter is required for routine dental care, though specialist referral is needed for oral surgery or orthodontic cases managed at restructured hospitals.
Dentists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC), a statutory board under MOH. Registration is verifiable on the SDC's online public register at hprof.gov.sg. Dental clinics must also hold a clinic licence issued by MOH under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Note that Ashford Dental Centre (Serangoon) does not currently list specific regulatory licences on this KakiList profile. Before your appointment, you may wish to confirm the consulting dentist's name and verify their SDC registration directly, particularly if you are attending for a specialist procedure such as orthodontics, oral surgery, or implantology, which require additional postgraduate qualifications. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
