New patients typically begin with an initial consultation and examination, which may include digital X-rays and a clinical assessment of teeth, gums, and bite alignment. From there, the dentist will outline a treatment plan covering any required restorative, preventive, or cosmetic work. It is worth confirming appointment availability, whether the clinic handles specific treatments such as orthodontics, Invisalign, implants, or wisdom tooth extraction, and whether payment can be made using Medisave for eligible procedures such as surgical extractions and certain periodontal treatments. Patients with dental insurance or corporate plans should verify panel status before booking.

I was experiencing tooth sensitivity when drinking cold or warm water, along with a slight pulling sensation while eating. Thankfully, the clinic managed to slot me in on a Sunday. Dr Danesh attended to me and performed scaling and polishing. He was knowledgeable, patient, and very gentle throughout the procedure. I could immediately feel that my tooth sensitivity had improved after the treatment. As someone who tends to be quite particular about hygiene, I was also reassured when Dr Danesh explained that all equipment was properly sterilised and that a new set of instruments was used for every patient.. The clinic does have a more premium positioning, so the prices are higher compared to many other dental clinics, but the professionalism and service quality were good.
I had a wisdom tooth extraction here. Dr Cindy Koh was friendly and thoroughly explained the entire process, which really calmed my nerves. The procedure was smooth and efficient. Highly recommended!
Fairly alarming that there haven't been any negative reviews recently. The setting of the place is nice and in general, the service provided was fairly okay. However, the prices here are extremely steep, even with a corporate rate, it is still at least twice the price of many other professional dental clinics. If you don't have any discounts whatsoever, I cannot imagine how much it would cost. Would recommend that potential visitors do your due diligence to check up other clinics' prices, definitely would go a long way!
Went to get my teeth checked. Need to clean and did and xray to find out that there were several decays on teeth. A bit pain but bearable for the cleaning. Need to go back again for the filling because there was bloods when did cleaning. Price wise a bit ok, not that cheap not that expensive. Not much queue because I came on an appointment. The dentist was good, she did a good job cleaning. I felt my teeth clean but still a bit pain on my gum, came go get gum checked but I got cleaned first instead.
I had a really positive experience at Ashford Dental Centre today. From the very first call, Atiqah at reception was outstanding — friendly, professional, and empathetic. She patiently explained all the medications to me without rushing, and she helped secure a same-day appointment, which I truly appreciated. Dr. Danesh was the reason I felt so reassured. He was extremely knowledgeable, never impatient, and explained all my options clearly. He walked me through each step of the procedure while also giving me his professional advice, which built a lot of trust and made me feel I was in safe hands. Nurse Nitha was kind and attentive throughout, especially when assisting with multiple X-ray scans. She made sure I was comfortable, even helping me clean my face and mouth, which showed genuine care. Overall, the whole team worked together seamlessly to make my visit smooth and stress-free. I felt supported, cared for, and respected at every step. I highly recommend Ashford Dental Centre to anyone looking for excellent dental care.

No referral is required to visit Ashford Dental Centre (Thomson) as a new patient. Your first visit will typically involve a clinical examination, a discussion of your dental history and any current concerns, and digital X-rays if clinically indicated. The dentist will then outline findings and recommend a treatment plan. If you have a complex or specialist condition — such as advanced periodontal disease, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder, or a need for oral surgery — the clinic may refer you to a specialist or restructured hospital dental department. Patients with systemic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, or who are on blood thinners should inform the dentist at the first visit, as these can affect treatment planning and drug prescriptions.
Dentists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) under the Dental Registration Act. Registration is verifiable on the SDC's public register at sdc.gov.sg. The clinic premises must also hold a valid licence issued by the Ministry of Health under the Healthcare Services Act. No licences were listed in this provider's KakiList profile at the time of publication, so patients are advised to confirm the consulting dentist's name and SDC registration number directly with the clinic before proceeding. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
