About Asia Pacific Dental & Medical Services
Asia Pacific Dental & Medical Services is a dental and medical clinic located at 146 Potong Pasir Avenue 1, serving patients islandwide. New patients typically begin with a first consultation, during which the dentist or clinician reviews the presenting concern, conducts an examination, and may recommend diagnostic imaging such as X-rays before outlining a treatment plan. For dental care, it is worth confirming which services are available in-house — routine scaling and polishing, fillings, extractions, root canal treatment, and cosmetic dentistry vary by clinic scope — as well as the appointment lead time, whether emergency slots are kept available, and the accepted payment methods including Medisave where applicable for certain medical procedures.
To take the next step, contact Asia Pacific Dental & Medical Services directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm appointment availability and the scope of services relevant to your condition.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Just removed my stitches after wisdom tooth extraction here, the dentist quite fun and humourous. Knew in the first place it is not painful but was still nervous. The dentist just got the stitches off real quick while applying cold spray to numb the gum. Overall done in 2 mins. The 2 mins taken were predominantly due to delay in front desk registration.
Where to extract a tooth from the start of the extracting until the next day without any pain?! If you need to extract one of your teeth maybe you can try out at this dental clinic above.
Dr Edwin Ng is such a patient doctor. He explained to me very clearly what it entails to get my wisdom tooth out, and also gave very clear instructions during the extraction process. The staff were extremely friendly and even texted me the next day to follow up. The only thing is that the clinic is quite cold, so remember to wear a jacket during your visit.
Always had a phobia of going to a dentist because of a childhood trauma. skipped every cleaning sessions i should have had at every dental clinic for almost 15 years. my oral hygiene has suffered and have developed weak gums since. Fast forward to a scare which has lead me to consult with Dr Edwin. he was at bishan before moving to potong pasir. not easy to get to compared to bishan. but for his detailed explanations to most of the worries i have had in harmony with his gentleness during scaling, it's worth the travel. Thank you for getting rid of my phobia and giving me a clean and healthy set of teeth and gums again Dr Edwin!! Staffs at Asia Pacific Dental Centre was kind and friendly too! Came in on a rainy afternoon with my feet soaking wet, was offered tissues quick to wipe down. thank you to the lady at the front desk for that! ☺️

Dental and medical consultation fees in Singapore vary by procedure and clinic tier. A basic dental consultation typically runs S$30–80, scaling and polishing S$80–150, fillings S$80–250 per tooth, and more involved work such as root canal treatment S$800–2,000+ depending on the tooth. GST applies on top of billed amounts. Asia Pacific Dental & Medical Services displays a '$$' price indicator, suggesting mid-range positioning. Confirm the exact consultation fee and a cost estimate for your intended procedure before your appointment, and ask whether Medisave can be used to offset any medical components. Package pricing for ongoing dental treatment should be requested in writing. See the full Dental cost guide for Singapore →
For most dental services, no referral is needed — you can book directly for a first consultation. The initial visit usually involves a clinical examination, a discussion of your symptoms or goals, and in many cases a periapical or panoramic X-ray to guide diagnosis. You will typically be asked to complete a brief medical history form, which should include any medications, allergies, and relevant systemic conditions such as diabetes or a blood-clotting disorder that could affect treatment. For medical services at the same clinic, the process is similar: walk-in or booked appointments are generally available for general practice concerns, though complex or specialist referrals may be issued onward. If you intend to claim insurance, confirm the diagnosis and billing codes with the clinic before the appointment to avoid issues with your insurer.
Individual dentists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC), and doctors with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) — both registers are publicly searchable online. The clinic premises should hold a valid MOH Private Hospital or Medical Clinic Licence under the Healthcare Services Act. KakiList has verified the operating details of Asia Pacific Dental & Medical Services, though no specific licences are recorded in this listing at this time. Before attending, it is advisable to ask the clinic to confirm the consulting dentist's or doctor's SDC or SMC registration number and verify it on the respective public register. Confirm the clinic's MOH licence status and whether professional indemnity insurance is held. These are standard markers of a legitimate practice in Singapore.
