About Aunty SG

About "Aunty SG"

Aunty SG is a nanny and babysitter service operating islandwide across Singapore, listed as KakiList verified. It holds a 4.9-star rating across 322 Google reviews — a robust sample that points to consistent client satisfaction. The service is priced at a moderate level (indicated by $$), though exact monthly fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the provider.

Families typically begin by reaching out via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to discuss their child's age, care hours required, and intended start date. When exploring nanny or babysitter arrangements, it is worth clarifying the caregiver-to-child ratio, the daily routine and activities on offer, and the settling-in approach for younger children. As Aunty SG operates as a nanny and babysitter service rather than a licensed childcare centre, ECDA subsidies would not apply in the conventional sense — parents should raise this directly to understand what, if any, government support may be accessible.

To take the first step, contact Aunty SG via WhatsApp or phone to describe your child's age, the hours of care needed, and your preferred start date, then arrange a meeting with the caregiver before confirming any booking. Listing data is incomplete — contact "Aunty SG" directly to confirm details.

I had such a wonderful confinement experience with Auntie Miki, and I’m truly grateful for her care during this precious time. She is super nice, friendly, and easy to talk to. She is very knowledgeable about what mummies can eat (for example, no chicken for the first two weeks after a tear) and also very experienced in handling babies, such as bathing and soothing them. She’s not shy to share this knowledge with my mum too, which we really appreciated. Her cooking is superb! I usually eat very little, but with her dishes, I found myself finishing every single grain of rice and drop of soup she made. Her portions are generous, and everything she prepared was both nutritious and delicious. On top of that, whenever we pointed out small areas to take note of such as cleaning, she was very receptive and adjusted right away, which made us feel comfortable and reassured. Whenever she sees me struggling with my baby, she takes the initiative to step in and help, while still encouraging me to learn. You can tell how much she loves babies, sometimes she can’t let go because she’s so caring and protective, especially since I’m still building confidence in handling my little one. My baby is not the easiest to manage, especially at night when she just can’t seem to sleep. Poor Auntie Miki would keep waking up every 1–2 hours to coax her back to rest. Despite this, she took initiative to communicate openly with us about the challenges of night duty and advocated for some afternoon rest once she had completed her morning tasks. We appreciated her honesty and were more than happy for her to have personal time, because it showed she is responsible and thoughtful about balancing her energy. Overall, I had a truly great confinement time with Auntie Miki. The 28 days flew by so quickly that I didn’t want it to end. I would definitely recommend her to other mummies looking for a kind, caring, and dedicated nanny.❤️

We had a great experience with Aunty confinement service. Our nanny, Maggie, was a huge help to our family. She provided excellent guidance during the early days with our newborn and helped her recover from mild jaundice through diligent feeding. She also went the extra mile and showed genuine effort and care in looking after the baby. Highly recommend their services for any new parents!

I had a great experience with aunty Mei Yan. I initially got her for 2 months but extended her service to 3.5 months. Not only was she tireless in taking care of my newborn, but she was also always cheery, calm and patient with him too. She took joy in witnessing his development and little quirks, and I felt assured that she was genuine in her care and love for babies! She adjusted her cooking to my preferences and always made the effort to experiment in her dishes too. She gave good advice, was knowledgeable and she supported me a lot with establishing breastfeeding, which was especially difficult in the initial few weeks when baby eats so often. I appreciate how steady and consistent she was throughout the few months she was with us! And thank you to the Aunty SG team as well. They had initially assigned another nanny for me from 38 weeks onwards, but upon informing them that I’d be delivering at 37 weeks, Jaslene was very swift in arranging for a new nanny, so it was an stress-free experience! She also checked in on me in the initial few weeks and was supportive. Thank you!

Unique nanny service where it offers interview opportunities with the nanny that was matched. Give us the confidence before the actual confinement period! We were matched with Aunty Lucy and during the interview, our vibes clicked so we went ahead with her. She was great with babies, responsible for night duties. She helped to wash the pumps and bottles and kept the house clean. With my first born, she interacted with her and even bought a gift for her on the first day! She also helped to cook simple dishes for her which was really a great help. Thank you aunty lucy!!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Aunty SG" charge per month?

Aunty SG displays a moderate price point ($$), but exact monthly fees are not publicly listed and will depend on factors such as the number of care days or hours required, the child's age, and any specific caregiving needs. When enquiring, ask about any one-off registration or placement fee, whether a deposit is required to secure your booking, and whether items such as meals or transport are included or charged separately. Childcare and babysitting fees in Singapore are generally GST-exempt, though you should confirm this for your specific arrangement. As care needs vary considerably, obtaining a written quote before committing is strongly advised. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →

What subsidies can I claim at "Aunty SG"?

Government childcare subsidies administered by ECDA — including the Basic Subsidy (up to S$600 per month for infant care, S$300 for childcare), the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy (for mothers working 56 or more hours per month), and the Additional Subsidy (income-tested, with combined support of up to S$710 per month) — apply to ECDA-licensed childcare centres and kindergartens. As Aunty SG operates as a nanny and babysitter service rather than a licensed centre, these subsidies are unlikely to apply in the standard way. Singapore citizen children are eligible for full subsidy tiers; Singapore Permanent Resident children may qualify for partial support at licensed facilities. Parents should contact ECDA directly for the most current subsidy figures and eligibility criteria, and raise the question of any available support with Aunty SG when enquiring.

Is there a waitlist at "Aunty SG"?

Availability for nanny and babysitter placements can vary significantly depending on caregiver availability, the hours required, and the child's age and needs. For families with infants or those requiring full-time care, it is advisable to enquire as early as possible — ideally several months ahead of your intended start date — as suitable caregivers may already be committed to other families. January is a common start month as families return from year-end leave, so demand tends to peak around that period. Contact Aunty SG directly via WhatsApp or phone to check current availability, and ask what is needed to secure a placement — such as a deposit or signed agreement — once a suitable match is identified.
