My wife and I had intention to find our more about sleep training when our son was 3 months old, and we engaged Sleep Trainer Estee to help us with it. Estee was extremely clear in her sharing and she was able to break down the sleep training process so that it was easy for us to understand and execute. What we appreciated most was that she was extremely helpful and ready to answer all our questions. It truly felt like she was with us the entire journey, checking in on us daily over text and we could even schedule follow up calls to address any of our concerns or anything else we would like to feedback. Both my wife and I are extremely grateful of Estee's help and we definitely recommend anyone who is looking a sleep trainer to look for Estee!
Knowing that a package costs $$$, i was at the door of desperation when i scheduled a call with Estee. I thought “No harm exploring if we were a good fit”. I am so grateful that Estee listened to my woes empathetically and her confidence that my baby could sleep better helped me to trust that it is doable. There’s a saying that goes “when the student is ready, the teacher appears”. And this is very true because i had to get to such a low point to find determination and conviction that i needed help from someone with expertise to take back control of my life. Estee is someone who walks the walk. And as a sleep deprived, stressed out, people-pleasing, self-pressuring postpartum mum, i now know that what i really needed was support from someone knowledgeable to hold my hand and guide me on the way, help me troubleshoot where ive gotten lost on the map and bring me back. Just a slight tweak in the schedule was all my baby needed. But this created such a ripple effect in my family. I am truly truly grateful. Her support has turned my life for the better and i can dream again of my future, as a mum, as a business-owner, as a wife. Her experience of having 2 girls close in age was similar to mine so hearing someone who walked the path before and how she prioritizes her children’s sleep even till now in primary school made me realize how important sleep is to babies and children. She was able to balance the necessary changes to be made with the unique sleep situation of my wishes/personal preference to room-share (not bedshare) due to space constraints living with extended family. My origin family doesnt have good sleeping habits so it was hard for me to instil this with my kids. Routines didnt come naturally to me. When Estee laid out the sleep plan for my 16month old girl i was abit sceptical. But i was truly surprised that the first night we started the training, my baby did so well. i had so much free time and free mental space that i immediately thought “omg why did i not do this sooner”.
My husband and I are so grateful for Alicia’s help in sleep training our 11-month-old. She was so patient in answering all our queries and concerns. Our little one never slept more than a 3-hour stretch at night and we found that she would get upset/angry very easily. The first two weeks of sleep training were very difficult to say the least; it was heartbreaking to hear her hoarse voice and we felt a lot of parent guilt.. within the first week of sleep training she learnt to sleep on her own and could soothe herself and we observed an improvement in her daytime naps after about 3 to 4 weeks. Now that she (and the both of us😋) is more well-rested our little one is more cheerful, does not anger as quickly and it has enabled us to spend more quality time together as a family. Alicia was recommended to us by a friend and we can’t recommend her enough!
I owe a big thank you to Alicia who helped my sleep training journey with my 2 little girls (5 mo and 2.5 years when i started). I was at my wits end a week before my maternity ended and the concept of babies sleeping on their own was at that point, a distant foreign concept. So i gave a call to Zoe who after listening to my woes, introduced Alicia to me and my husband and I are in full agreement that life only went up from there. Before we started, Alicia came over to have a look at our place and also went through in detail what we should be expecting. She also helped me in my mental prep of what to do on day 1. Then, in just a matter of a week, my 5mo could sleep on her own and her naps were relatively good even and when problem arose, we could work it through with Alicia's help. 2 weeks later i started for my 2.5yo which we all foresaw to be a bigger headache but surprisingly she cooperated and it worked and with relatively less crying then we expected. I know i could never do it on my own without Alicia's constant support and guidance throughout the journey and assurance that I can do it too. Now my two little girls are happy happy sleepers and my husband and I are also super happy to take that first step to adopt this sleep training program. I can even stay out late now unlike the past where i had to rush home to put the girls to sleep!!! Looking forward, hope Zoe can consider creating a community where mummies and daddies who have gone through this program can also help each other discuss and troubleshoot after their course with their respective sleep trainer ended :D
It has been three weeks since our sleep training ended, and I wanted to observe how our little one (LO) is doing before writing an honest review. Sara has been an incredibly patient and approachable sleep trainer. Her responsiveness through text support during our moments of need was highly appreciated. With four kids of her own, she understands the entire parenting journey, and she imparts valuable insights backed by research and her own experience. Sara is not just a coach; she's a trusted friend who brings a high level of credibility to her role. We're very grateful for her guidance. We sought guidance from Sleep Supernanny when our LO was 3 months old, just before the onset of the dreaded 4-month sleep regression. Prior to engaging a sleep trainer, we had already delved into various sleep training materials and were clear that we did not want to use the Cry It Out method. Sara, our sleep consultant, provided a comprehensive consultation tailored to our unique situation and our LO. She began by visiting our home, conducting interviews with us, and getting to know our LO personally. It was only after this thorough understanding that she shared her sleep training strategies. Our goal was to help our LO develop the ability to self-settle and self-soothe, eliminating the need for us to intervene. We wanted her to progress from relying on being carried, rocked, or patted for every daytime nap to falling asleep independently. I must say, after three weeks of constant support and guidance from Sara, our LO has not only grasped this concept but is now practicing it effectively. In fact, we observed very encouraging results after only 3 days, where LO could do all 4 naps in the cot, although she still needed help to connect sleep cycles As our LO goes through the sleep regression stage, we are delighted to see her self-soothing without the need for a pacifier, successfully linking her sleep cycles and falling back to sleep. This progress has been a game-changer for us, thanks to Sara's expertise and guidance. I highly recommend sleep training to any parent who wants to not only give their LO the gift of independent sleep but also carve out some much-needed "me time" for themselves. It's a win-win for both parents and babies!
