Patients typically begin by calling the clinic or submitting an enquiry via the online form to describe their presenting concern or treatment goal — whether a routine check-up and scale-and-polish, a specific dental complaint, or a cosmetic or restorative procedure. Before the first visit, it is worth confirming consultation fees, what diagnostics (such as X-rays or intraoral scans) are included in the initial appointment, the dentist's area of focus, and whether the clinic accepts your dental insurance or corporate benefits. Parking and MRT access from Orchard Station should also be confirmed given the building's upper-floor location.
To take the next step, contact Aura Dental by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to confirm appointment availability, the scope of your first visit, and the fee structure before attending.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
I cannot recommend Dr. Denis Tan at Aura Dental Clinic highly enough! I recently came in for a teeth whitening procedure, and the results have absolutely blown me away. My smile is now brighter and whiter than I ever imagined it could be, and it looks completely natural. From the very first consultation, Dr. Tan was a complete professional. He is an excellent communicator who took the time to explain the entire process, manage my expectations, and answer every single one of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. His patience is truly remarkable; he made sure I was comfortable and confident at every step. The procedure itself was smooth and comfortable, thanks to his careful and gentle approach. The entire team at Aura Dental is friendly and efficient, making the clinic a welcoming environment. If you are looking for a dentist who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely cares about his patients, look no further. Dr. Tan’s expertise in teeth whitening is second to none. Thank you, Dr. Tan and the Aura Dental team, for giving me a smile I am so proud to show off!
I have been with Dr Denis probably more than 16 years. He has my whole history of my teeth in photos! As I am a grinder, my teeth had started to wear down. Throughout the years, he had been concerned about this, and we had took pains to try and slow down this process of wear and tear. He took pains to show me my teeth in photos and how it wore down by the way I grind my teeth. Decisions were always made together and if I was not comfortable, we would find alternatives to address the issue. He is always transparent and patient. Very good bedside manners.
I’ve been going to Dr Denis Tan for over 10 years and can’t recommend this clinic more! Not only is he super conservative in his approach, but he and his team are always responsive to patient needs. Even when I was overseas and had an accident that involved my teeth, he responded almost immediately to my call for help and provided invaluable assistance that saved my tooth. Thanks so much to the Aura Dental team for always taking such good care of my family and me.
Avoid that place. Dr. Denis Tan is looking towards your insurance coverage and then will plan your program accordingly. If you annual allowance is 1000S$ then you will spend there 1000S$. If S$2000 then will manage to find way how to double. Very negative experience from my end, no interest how to support only how to cash more from insurance. In addition to that at opening even if only cleaning I requested he performed some checks with x-ray and asked for S$350 in addition. AVOID IT!
Not recommended. Dr. Denis was very rough in the cleaning and polishing process, I’ve always looked forward to getting my teeth cleaned but this experience at Aura Dental was pretty traumatising. There was a lot of blood and some ulcers after he was done. He also recommended a lot of treatments I didn’t need and maxed out the insurance coverage of US$1000. I felt like I wasn’t treated as a person but a means to fill the bank account.

Dental fees in Singapore vary considerably by procedure. A routine consultation with scaling and polishing typically runs S$80–180; fillings S$80–250 depending on material and size; extractions S$100–400; root canal treatment S$800–2,000+ per tooth; and cosmetic work such as crowns or veneers S$1,200–2,500+ per unit. Aura Dental's listing does not publish a detailed fee schedule, so it is advisable to ask for a written treatment plan and cost estimate before any procedure. Check whether your employer's dental benefits, Medisave (applicable for certain surgical procedures), or insurance panels cover treatment at the clinic. A new-patient consultation fee may apply separately from any treatment costs. See the full dental cost guide for Singapore →
No referral is required for a general dental consultation — you can book directly by phone or via the enquiry form. At the first appointment, the dentist will typically conduct an oral examination, review your dental and medical history, and may take X-rays to assess areas not visible during a clinical check. If you have a specific concern such as tooth pain, sensitivity, gum issues, or are seeking cosmetic treatment, mention this when booking so the appointment slot and any diagnostic tools can be prepared in advance. Patients with complex medical histories — such as those on blood thinners, bisphosphonates, or immunosuppressants — should inform the clinic before attending, as some dental procedures may require GP or specialist clearance first.
All dentists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) under the Dental Registration Act. You can verify a dentist's registration on the SDC's public online register at sdc.gov.sg before booking. The register shows the dentist's full name, registration number, and any conditions or restrictions on practice. Aura Dental's listing does not currently specify the names of the treating dentists or their individual SDC registration numbers. It is reasonable to ask the clinic for this information directly — a legitimate practice will provide it without hesitation. Confirm also whether any specialist procedures (such as orthodontics, oral surgery, or periodontics) are performed by a dentist with the relevant specialist registration. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
