Patients typically begin by calling or submitting a contact form to check appointment availability and confirm the scope of the consultation — whether it is a routine check-up and clean, a specific concern such as tooth pain or sensitivity, or a follow-up procedure. It is worth asking about waiting times, which practitioners will be attending, and whether the clinic handles specialist-adjacent work such as dental implants, orthodontics, or surgical extractions, or refers those out. Bring your identification and, if relevant, your insurance or corporate dental plan details, as dental fees in Singapore are paid at the point of service and vary considerably by procedure.
To book, contact B9 Dental Centre (Teck Whye) directly by phone or through the enquiry form listed on this page, confirm the appointment date and the name of the attending practitioner, and clarify the full fee estimate for your intended treatment before your visit.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Dr Kim Ki Lim is the worst dentist I’ve ever had in Singapore or malaysia. I regularly go to B9 and because Dr Zhang Ruoxi was on leave I was attended to by Dr Kim. He used excessive force whilst cleaning my teeth, and even when I shirked away 4 times because it was so painful, he didn’t care and just continued trying to finish the cleaning ASAP. He caused more damage to my gums than benefits from the cleaning. Absolutely regret letting him touch my teeth. Thankfully I have experiences with so many different dentists to know that Dr Kim’s service is absolutely not acceptable and even harmful to my gums. NEVER let him touch your teeth.
Brought a friend to this dental clinic recently because she needed to extract a tooth due to pain. We made advanced appointment with the reception but when we got in there, no one at the front counter. Filled up the form and waited for the longest time. Appointment made at 12.30pm, filled in the form, told us to get seated. Other patients came and went in ahead of us even though our appointment was earlier. Waited close to 2 hours before the dentist could see us. Is there something inefficient with the appointment taking system? Or bad organisation? Let’s not talk about the dentist because what greeted us was bad service, inefficient management and no customer service. Please do not go. There are many others that are way better. If I can give a zero star rating, I will. 1-star rating is just too generous. Think twice before making the appointment.
UNWILLING TO ASSIST IN DENTAL ISSUE I went for a consult regarding a sensitive hairline crack pre-molar tooth with the filling gone & was told by Dr Magnus Kaung that he will not do the re-filling as it would cause it to crack further should pressure be applied on it. Although I requested for it & was aware of the possible consequences but he still refused to do it. He said I should seek another dentist as he was unwilling to do it. So I requested for just a cleaning which was poorly done. By the way, the subsequent dentist which I visited did re-fill my crack & noted that it might be a gum problem as the cracked tooth wasn’t sensitive!👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
The waiting time at this clinic is appalling. My appointment was scheduled for 3:30pm, yet the receptionist claimed it was at 4pm. Regardless, I was left waiting an outrageous 2.5–3 hours before being seen. This lack of respect for patients’ time is unprofessional and unethical. Because of this delay, I even had to miss an important client appointment. Every visit ends up the same—with excessive waiting A reputable clinic should never treat patients’ time so carelessly.
Terrible experience!! Almost all the gum area at the sides of each tooth were bleeding after the scaling and polishing procedure. I can't recall the dentist's name but he was Indian. Would not recommend this clinic at all. Made an appointment but had to wait 1-2 hours.

Dental fees in Singapore vary significantly by procedure rather than a flat session rate. A routine consultation typically runs S$20–60 at a polyclinic-linked or general dental clinic; scaling and polishing S$50–150; a single tooth extraction S$80–300 depending on complexity; fillings S$80–250 per tooth; and root canal treatment S$800–1,500 per tooth. Crowns, implants, and orthodontic treatment are priced separately and usually require a treatment plan before any figure is confirmed. B9 Dental Centre (Teck Whye) has not published a specific price schedule on this listing, so confirm the exact fee for your intended procedure before your appointment. MediSave can be used for certain dental surgeries (such as wisdom tooth surgical extraction) but not for routine treatments. Corporate or insurance dental plans may cover basic procedures — check your plan's panel list before booking. See the full Dental cost guide for Singapore →
For general dental care — check-ups, scaling, fillings, or extractions — no referral is needed. You can book directly by phone or via the enquiry form. For your first visit, expect a brief intake discussion covering your dental history, any current pain or sensitivity, medications you are taking, and known allergies (particularly to anaesthetic agents). A GP referral is not typically required for dental treatment, but it can be useful if you are claiming through a corporate dental plan that requires a referral code, or if your dentist needs a medical history for patients on blood thinners, bisphosphonates, or immunosuppressants. If your concern involves jaw pain, bite misalignment, or orthodontic treatment, the clinic may refer you to a specialist — confirm during the initial consultation whether the practice handles this in-house or refers out.
