When reaching out, it helps to share your pet's size, breed, and temperament upfront, as these factors influence the training approach and session structure. Have your pet's vaccination records on hand before any visit or drop-off. A trial visit is a sensible first step to assess how your pet responds to the trainer and the environment. Whether you are looking for a one-off consultation or a recurring training schedule, raising this early will help Bark N Purr propose the most suitable programme for your animal's needs.
To get started, contact Bark N Purr via WhatsApp or phone to describe your pet and outline your training goals. Ask about current availability, session format, and what to bring to the first appointment.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
We had our first grooming session at Bark & Purr Groomer today for our little Chihuahua, LeLe, and we couldn't be happier! I was initially nervous because LeLe is tiny and can be a bit sensitive, but the entire team was incredibly gentle and professional. They took their time and clearly prioritized her comfort throughout the entire process. She left looking absolutely gorgeous—so clean, and smelling amazing! It's such a relief to find a groomer we can truly trust. We are thrilled with the service and highly recommend Bark & Purr for any dog, big or small. We will definitely be back!
We just moved to the area and have been looking for reliable groomers for our long-haired cat. Grateful that we were able to find Bark & Purr and book in a slot for our cat at the very last minute! And also able to use our CDC vouchers so that was a bonus :) We even got a video update of the entire grooming process, which was a nice touch since we aren’t in the room with her and often wonder if she’s responding well to the grooming sessions.
Our first time visiting Bark & Purr with one of our girls. She is groomed about 3 times a year and the regular groomer is away and so we decided to try Bark & Purr after reading the reviews. We are happy with the entire process and outcome. Would bring our other girl when she’s due for her groom. 👍🏻 thank you for taking good care of our girl
My cat was due for an overhaul and so happens to stumble upon Bark & Purr. The grooming package includes nail cutting, paw fur trim, shower and ear cleaning and the whole procedure took less than an hour. Fish the groomer took excellent care of my cat and now she feels and smells brand new. Couldn’t be happier. Affordable and fast. If anyone needs their fur-friends a good make-over, I highly recommend anyone who lives in the area a try and you will not be disappointed.
Xiau Yi was friendly and gentle towards my cats eventhough they were slightly aggressive. He was calm and professional. Overall, he did a good job!

Bark N Purr displays a moderate price range, but specific session fees have not been published on this listing. In the Singapore market, pet training typically ranges from around S$80 to S$200 or more per session depending on the trainer's experience, the complexity of the programme, and whether sessions are one-to-one or group-based. Package deals covering multiple sessions are common and usually offer better value than individual bookings. Surcharges may apply for larger or more challenging breeds, or for specialised behavioural programmes. Contact Bark N Purr directly via WhatsApp or phone to request a detailed breakdown before committing. See the full Pet Training cost guide for Singapore →
Most professional pet trainers and facilities in Singapore require dogs to be up to date on core vaccinations — typically DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and rabies. For cats, the FVRCP combination vaccine is standard. If sessions involve contact with other animals, bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is frequently required as well. Vaccination records are generally expected to be current within the past 12 months, and you will usually be asked to present proof at or before your first session. Check with Bark N Purr directly to confirm their specific vaccination policy, as requirements can vary depending on whether training is conducted in a shared space or on a one-to-one basis.
Bark N Purr is registered with ACRA, Singapore's official business registry, and is KakiList verified — meaning operating details and contact information have been confirmed by a real person. The listing does not currently display an AVS (Animal and Veterinary Service) boarding or grooming facility licence, though this may not be mandatory depending on the specific services offered, particularly where training is conducted at the owner's premises or in open spaces. Before your first session, it is worth asking Bark N Purr directly about their insurance coverage and what protocols are in place should your pet be injured or fall unwell during a session. Visit the facility or training location if possible, verify the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance arrangements before proceeding.
