I had an excellent experience under the care of Dr Barrie Tan. From the very first consultation through to the surgery and post-operative follow-ups, he demonstrated outstanding professionalism and skill. Dr Barrie took the time to explain everything thoroughly, which gave me great confidence and peace of mind. His calm and composed manner made a significant difference, especially before the surgery when I naturally felt anxious. He approached every discussion with patience and reassurance, ensuring that I felt comfortable and well-informed at every stage. Dr Barrie is one of the most meticulous and hardworking doctor I’ve seen. I have been bugged by recurrent sinusitis for years and it’s affecting my quality of life, living on and off antibiotics and many meds for prolonged periods. Finally decided to do the nasal surgery and it’s the best decision I’ve made. Dr Barrie has the best team of nurses, he is gentle in his approach and surgery was a smooth process. The anaesthetist he works with is also an excellent doctor. At every juncture, I felt assured and every time I have a question, he is always spot on. It’s been 3 months post surgery and I am healing well, sinus issue has been resolved and hopefully no more episodes! Thank you to Dr Barrie and your splendid team of nurses! Keep it up and save more people who suffers from similar conditions ;)

I found Dr. Barrie ENT Clinic through Google and decided to consult Dr. Barrie for long-standing nasal issues on 13 Dec 2025. Dr. Barrie is thorough, patience, and reassuring. He performed a detailed nasal endoscopy, clearly explained the images, findings, and listened attentively to my concerns. Tests were arranged to identify possible triggers. He also took time to explain surgical options for my enlarged turbinate and snoring that could be related to possible Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). He suggested a home based sleep study, and was arranged by Nurse Xuan efficiently. Medication he prescribed worked extremely well during my recent trip to Hong Kong, especially for in-flight nasal congestion. For the first time in a long while, I could breathe through my nose instead of my mouth and actually taste and enjoy my in-flight meals. At my second visit on 28 Jan 2026, Dr. Barrie carefully re-examined my nose after I shared my minor nose bleeding caused by cold, dry weather in Hong Kong. He reviewed my sleep study results in simple terms and presented both conservative and surgical treatment options without hard-selling, allowing me to make informed decision. Dr. Barrie is supported by a friendly, attentive, and highly professional nursing team — Xuan, Jenna, Sop, and Liz, who are responsive and genuinely caring. Their professionalism reflects Dr. Barrie’s strong leadership and commitment to patient-centered care that’s clearly evident throughout the clinic. I look forward to seeing the team again in July 2026 after my Australia trip and will be sure to bring along the Tonimer moisturiser prescribed.
