Take the trial class and confirm the coach's actual credentials before committing to a term.

My son has been training under Coach Douglas team since 2019 and has obtained DSA badminton for his PSLE posting. Thankful for grooming him and all the support for past 6 years! It’s a well-run badminton academy we would strongly encourage parents to enrol your kids who has strong passion for badminton.
I'm a 35 year old, no sports back ground, late learner of the sport. I've been very serious about my training and have been through many coaches in the last few years. Daniel is the best coach I have ever met. He is extremely knowledgeable but more importantly, has spent the effort to break down and prepare effective pedagogy to impart the skills. There are many great players out there, but not so many great coaches. There is no quick fix to getting good, but I have seen massive improvement in my knowledge and skill level ever since I started learning under Daniel. He is also very encouraging and listens to you and your goals and helps you to achieve them. Training sessions are effective but fun and there are good vibes around it. All of these, alongside many other positive traits makes me truly believe that Daniel is one of the very best coaches in Singapore. It is one of my dreams to be able to teach as well as he can and help others around me as well.
Best coach in Singapore! After few years learning and playing badminton. I’ve had different kind of classes and coaches. As a 40+ years old learner, coach Daniel can tailor made his program to fit in every single player. He is an excellent observer who look into every little detail in a way to fine tune your technique. It really helps to improve from foundation to advance mind strategy skills. From theory to practical, from physical to strategy. I am so glad that I joined Be a Champ.
The formative years of every child is very important. Every person he / she meets is a mentor to the child, for the child to become a nice person himself. We are extremely proud of sending our child to Coach Daniel’s academy, because along with the badminton skills Coach Daniel helps every child to build a strong character. My son who is with Coach Daniel for more than a year now, is showing improved signs of maturity and camaraderie. Best of all, the kids like Coach Daniel a Lot. Thank you Coach Regards F/o Aarush

Specific session fees, monthly package rates, and term fees for BE A Champ Badminton are not publicly listed, so you will need to contact the provider directly to obtain current pricing. As a general guide, group sports enrichment classes in Singapore typically range from S$30–60 per session, while one-to-one coaching can run higher. Monthly packages often work out at a lower per-session rate than drop-in pricing. It is worth asking whether a trial class is available and whether that carries a separate fee, and whether materials or equipment (such as shuttlecocks or racquet hire) are included or charged separately. Sibling discounts and multi-class bundle pricing are common in the enrichment sector and worth enquiring about. See the full Sport and Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →
BE A Champ Badminton's trial class policy is not specified in the listing, so it is best to ask directly when you enquire. Many badminton coaching providers in Singapore offer a single trial session — sometimes at a reduced fee or at the standard per-session rate — before requiring term enrolment. A trial class is a useful way to assess whether the coach's teaching style, the pace of instruction, and the group level are a good fit for your child or yourself. Pay attention to how the coach structures drills, gives feedback, and manages the group, as these give a clearer sense of what ongoing sessions will be like. If a formal trial is not offered, attending an observation session or speaking to current students' parents can serve a similar purpose before committing to a full term.
Coaching credentials are not listed in the provider's public information on KakiList. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether the coaches hold qualifications from the Singapore Badminton Association (SBA), Badminton World Federation (BWF) coaching certification, or Sport Singapore-recognised coaching pathways. For competitive junior development, it is also worth asking whether any coaches have experience coaching at the club, national school games, or representative level. The number of years coaching and the age groups each coach specialises in are also relevant, particularly if you are looking for junior development rather than recreational play. If this information is not immediately available, request it directly from BE A Champ Badminton before committing to a term.
