When enquiring about boarding, it helps to have your pet's size, breed, and temperament details ready, as these often affect the type of accommodation available and the level of supervision required. Vaccination records — typically covering DHPP and rabies for dogs, or FVRCP for cats, along with bordetella for communal boarding environments — are generally required before drop-off and should be current within the past twelve months. If your pet has not boarded before or is particularly anxious around other animals, ask whether a trial visit or short day-stay is available to help them acclimatise. It is also worth confirming the drop-off and collection schedule, and whether recurring bookings can be arranged for regular travel or work commitments.
To take the next step, contact Benji Pet Kennel directly by phone or via their enquiry form to check availability for your required dates, confirm their vaccination policy, and arrange a visit to the facility before your pet's first stay.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
This is my very first time scheduling a grooming session at Benji. The grooming was scheduled at a specific timing, and when we reached, we were told that my little one would have to wait for 1.5 hours to get a groom. There were easily 5 dogs waiting in the grooming space within. We did not get any heads up on the 1.5 hour delay prior to reaching the shop for our appointment (not a simple phone call or a WhatsApp was received), and was ushered into the grooming area to handover our dog as though nothing was wrong! Super alarming. Groomers apologised even though it was not their fault. Informed the front desk about the delay and they mentioned that one of their groomers took MC in the morning and they strongly urged and requested for us to wait it out, even though I mentioned that I came from afar and had another appointment scheduled after. I could even sense dissatisfaction from them. This was not a pleasant experience and it is definitely not professional on the management’s part. If one groomer decided to take MC in the morning, then at the very least the shop should have informed the owners of the dogs beforehand so that they will not have to make a trip down only to wait. Dogs also face stress. Disappointed with the client service and highly do not recommend.
This pet shop has a spacious parking lot with plenty of available spots—no hassle finding a space. The lot is well-maintained and easy to access, making quick stops for pet food or grooming a breeze. Friendly staff and great service, plus hassle-free parking! 🚗🐾 Highly recommend!
Brought Cookie for this quarterly grooming this afternoon and it was a great experience. He's looks great... Tks Benji Pet Kennel.
I’ve shopped here multiple times and the product quality never disappoints. Everything is exactly as described and built to last. The staff is responsive, and the overall process is smooth. It’s refreshing to find a store that values both quality and service. I’ll definitely continue shopping here. Highly recommended!
Shop space is HUGE with very wide variety of products ranging from pet food, snacks, toys, supplements etc. There are also convenient parking spaces nearby! It is worth the effort to come here rarher than the usual tiny pet needs shops in shopping malls.

Benji Pet Kennel is priced at a mid-range tier ($$) for pet boarding in Singapore. Exact nightly or daily rates were not available at the time of this listing, so it is best to contact them directly for a quote tailored to your pet's size, breed, and the duration of stay. Boarding costs in Singapore typically vary based on the size of the animal, the type of accommodation (individual kennel versus shared space), and any add-ons such as extra exercise sessions, grooming, or medication administration. Confirm all charges in writing before drop-off, including any fees for public holidays or last-minute cancellations. See the full pet boarding cost guide for Singapore →
Most reputable boarding facilities in Singapore require proof of up-to-date vaccinations before accepting a pet. For dogs, this typically means DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies, with bordetella (kennel cough) often required or strongly recommended for communal boarding environments. For cats, FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) is standard, with the feline leukaemia vaccine sometimes requested as well. Vaccination records are generally expected to be current within the past twelve months. Bring your pet's vaccination booklet or a letter from your vet at drop-off. Contact Benji Pet Kennel directly to confirm their specific vaccination requirements before your pet's stay.
Pet boarding facilities in Singapore are required to hold a licence from the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) under the National Parks Board. This licence governs the conditions under which animals may be boarded, including space requirements, hygiene standards, and animal welfare protocols. However, AVS licensing does not appear in the information currently held for Benji Pet Kennel, so you should ask them directly to confirm their licence status and licence number before your pet's first stay. It is also worth asking about their protocol if a pet becomes unwell or is injured during boarding, including whether they have a nominated veterinary clinic and what insurance, if any, covers incidents on their premises. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
