DO NOT engage Big Mama unless you want to be traumatised, not get cleaned laundry, and waste a lot, a lot of unnecessary time. Firstly, pick up— did not pick up within time frame. No heads up, no text, no call, and took for granted that everyone has nothing better to do and would waiting at the door for them. Had to pack the laundry in a hurry, causing unnecessary stress. Did not even complain about this until what was about to come after: Delivery was supposed to be on 14/2 at 1-4pm I also texted on the morning to give a headsup to follow the order timing as I was working in the morning. I even asked for the next delivery date in case that the delivery personnel could not meet order time frame. However, instead, was assured via WhatsApp representative that the delivery personnel would call before delivery and deliver after 1PM. At 14/2, 10:26AM, while I was at work, I received an aggressive call and threat. The delivery personnel shouted that he was “leaving the area” and “would not back in the area” anymore. I literally had cold sweat and stabbing pains from my nerves during and after the call. I do not understand why I am being punished for following an order timing I have placed and paid for. After the call, I was uneasy at work; I rushed home right after work and reached home before 1:00PM, before the agreed timing. I patiently waited till 3:36PM before texting a very polite SMS to the delivery personnel to ask when he would be dropping by. No reply. Therefore, I patiently waited more till 4:08PM, past the agreed timeframe. I then called and was told the delivery would be at 5+PM. The delivery was way beyond the time frame I booked and paid for; and was not even passed to me after all the torturous waiting and keeping my phone with me. It was left on floors with cockroaches, and absorbing neighbour’s chain smoking. Vitally, I had to postpone my appointment with my friends— missing an entire meal we had booked months in advance and made deposit for; and this means not fulfilling my part of promise to my dear friends. Precious time was also forcefully taken away from us; this is especially so since my friends are only in Singapore for a few days. Most importantly, while other laundromats would seal the bags with cleaned laundry then packed the sealed bags in carrier bags (at least two layers); however, Big Mama uncaringly just uses ONE absolutely thin layer of carrier bag. No sealed bag, whatsoever. Definitely no double layers. The bags came with many holes and tears with my clothes absorbing dirt, dust, and smoke— see pictures. I have no choice but to send the laundry for wash again with a different laundromat after the traumatising waste of time, yet Big Mama refuses to refund and is still unlawfully holding on to my money after 10 days. They are also not apologetic. Nothing from them except wasting a lot of precious time and damaging my clothes, and yet they are still continuing to waste time asking for more “proof”. Absolutely traumatising experience. Please, no matter what, DO NOT engage Big Mama.
I have many good experiences with them and I find them very reliable. Infact , better than the service provider that I had used before . Their laundry pick up / drop off is efficient and driver will contact us via WhatsApp prior to arrival to coordinate timing . When they receive the laundry, they often will first inspect the clothing and notify us of any “abnormalities” before preceding . They are easily contactable by WhatsApp and response is usually quick. I find them reliable and honest and will strongly recommend them .
Pleasant service from Big Mama at Ngee Ann City. I brought in my winter jacket to have the zipper replaced and was welcomed by the lady seamstress there. Prior to that, I had gone to a few others where they refused to have it replaced due to the tedious workmanship. Price is reasonable, especially I have been using the jacket for very long and it holds a special value. Very responsive through WhatsApp, and work done on time for me to pick up before our traveling time. Thank you Big Mama. I will definitely use your service again ❤️

Poor Experience with Silk Saree and traditional dress Dry Cleaning I came across this laundry service with some good reviews, so I thought I'd give them a try for my wedding silk saree and traditional dress. Unfortunately, they returned my saree with significant shrinkage all over, despite my clear note to handle it with care. It's disappointing that they didn't acknowledge their limitations in handling special silk saree and instead ruined it. The after-sales customer service promised to call me, but I had to chase them for a response. Their reply was unhelpful, asking for a clearer photo or video to verify the shrinkage issue, despite my providing clear images. I'd strongly advise against using this laundry service. Many others have shared similar experiences of damaged items. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for reliable dry cleaning services. Please avoid this laundry service !!! Very unpleasant experience with their pick up and delivery service. Scheduled for timing between 11am to 3pm. Delivery person came at around 6plus evening on both occasions. It disrupted my plans and wasted time waiting for them to come. If you cannot commit to the timings, I think it is a courtesy to inform or reschedule. I will reconsider using them again even though I have engaged them for many years. Their service standard has dropped tremendously.
