The clinic holds a 4.3/5 rating across 78 Google reviews, which represents a moderate sample size. For a first visit to a GP clinic, patients typically walk in or call ahead to check waiting times. A standard GP consultation covers presenting symptoms, a brief examination, on-the-spot investigations where indicated (rapid strep, urine dipstick, blood glucose), and prescription or referral if required. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan layered on MediShield Life, note that most outpatient GP visits fall outside IP coverage and are paid in cash, though CHAS cardholders may qualify for subsidised rates at enrolled GP clinics. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient chronic conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — covering conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia — up to the S$500 or S$700 annual withdrawal limit depending on the programme. Patients with a referral letter from this clinic to a public hospital specialist outpatient clinic (SOC) may access subsidised specialist care at S$30–80 per visit for Singapore Citizens, with typical non-urgent waits of four to twelve weeks.

I had a really positive experience at Bishan Grace Clinic. Dr Grace Kwan is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. She takes the time to really listen and explain things clearly, which made me feel comfortable and reassured throughout the consultation. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and their well-being. The clinic is also well-run and efficient, with friendly staff and a calm, welcoming environment. I never felt rushed, and everything from registration to consultation was smooth. Highly recommend Bishan Grace Clinic and Dr Grace Kwan if you’re looking for a trustworthy and compassionate doctor 💖
I had a wonderful experience at this clinic. The doctor is incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable, addressing all my questions with genuine empathy. The clinical assistants were also very friendly and eager to assist, checking with the doctor on my behalf regarding any concerns I had about my child. I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to anyone, especially parents. It has truly helped alleviate my worries. Thank you so much for your outstanding care!
Dr Grace is a professional and competent lady doctor. She is passionate about providing holistic medicine in a person-centred care approach. However, for walk-in patients without prior appointment, be prepared to wait at least 1-2 hours.
Honestly frequent here for my 2 out of 3 children and myself during sick days. But for 15yrs this is the first time, the waiting time from the start of registration ard 9.45am ended up only can enter 12.20pm? With the queue of 4 persons ONLY infront of us said the Admin. So the Admin said "Go for breakfast first. We will call you. There is ard 4 persons in queue." 11.50am received WA told me to come down in 20mins time. I did bring my sick dotter and toddler down together. 12.10pm Bell rang, but another guy entered? I mentioned to the admin "you said 20mins?!" "Oh after this your turn" Once name being called. And it doesnt help that doc told me to do appointment booking to see her next time. "Almost 3 hrs ley!!!" Excuse me 4 person infront in the queue take 3 hrs for me to see u is it. So along the 4 persons queue how many ppl booked appointment? So whose fault? Patient impatient? Patient has been patient for almost 3 hrs. Good thing we stay nearby clinic. Imagine if other residents out of Bishan need to wait getting more sicker waiting for 3 hrs. Might as well go other clinic/poly. We might be a regular/frequent but this is not the right thing to do almost 3 hrs of waiting for a private clinic visit. Theres always the first time and myb will make it the last and that I have opened up myself to u doc "MUMMY IS VERY ANGRY" in subtle tone. You know who I am. Your used to be regular patient.
It can take quite some time before you get to see Dr Grace because she tries to explain your symptoms / the treatment during consultation. Doesn’t feel like touch and go. She’s also empathetic and won’t make you feel stressed. She’s able and willing to prescribe stronger med to make you feel better faster. That I appreciate. Only complaint is I think her charges are above average… so I only go to her when I am quite in need of strong medicine + a longer rest period.

A standard GP consultation at a private clinic in Singapore typically runs S$25–60, with after-hours or weekend visits attracting a surcharge of S$10–30. On top of the consultation fee, expect to be billed separately for any investigations (blood panel S$60–200, urine test S$10–30, rapid antigen or swab tests S$15–50), prescriptions dispensed on-site, and any dressings or minor procedures. CHAS Blue, Orange, and Merdeka Generation cardholders receive subsidised rates at enrolled GP clinics — confirm whether Bishan Grace Clinic participates in the CHAS scheme before your visit, as this directly affects what you pay out of pocket. MediSave cannot be used for a straightforward acute GP visit but can be applied under the CDMP for chronic disease management up to the S$500 or S$700 annual limit. GST applies on private medical services. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate clinic premises must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. No licence details were provided for this listing, so patients should search the MOH directory by clinic name or address before booking. Every practising doctor must also be on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by the consulting doctor's name to confirm active registration status and check for any disciplinary records. Both checks take under two minutes and should be done before your first visit. Neither the clinic licence alone nor the doctor's SMC registration alone is sufficient — both are required for a lawfully operating GP clinic in Singapore. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally do not cover standard outpatient GP visits — coverage typically activates for hospitalisation, day surgery, and specialist outpatient care under specific plan conditions. For chronic disease management at a GP level, MediSave can be withdrawn under the CDMP (covering hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, stroke, COPD, and selected mental health conditions, among others) up to S$500 per year for general outpatient use or S$700 per year under the CDMP — confirm which conditions the clinic manages under this programme. For any planned referral onwards to a specialist or day-surgery facility, request a pre-treatment financial counselling session and a written estimate that clearly splits the IP insurer's payout, MediSave deduction, and your out-of-pocket portion before committing. If your IP insurer requires pre-authorisation or a Letter of Guarantee for a planned procedure, arrange this before the procedure date to avoid claim disputes after the fact. Skipping the financial counselling step is the most common reason patients are caught off guard by their final bill. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
