Senior transport services typically cater to elderly individuals who require assisted or wheelchair-accessible rides to medical appointments, day rehabilitation centres, dialysis sessions, or specialist clinics. When enquiring, it is worth confirming whether the service accommodates wheelchair users or those with mobility aids, the level of attendant support provided during transfer, whether the vehicle is air-conditioned and fitted with safety restraints, how bookings are made for recurring appointments versus one-off trips, lead time required, and the cancellation or no-show policy. Families coordinating care for a parent or grandparent should also ask whether the driver is trained in basic elder assistance and how the service handles situations where the passenger requires additional time or support at the destination.
To get started, contact Blossom Seeds MET by phone or through the enquiry form on the KakiList listing to describe your loved one's mobility needs, appointment schedule, and preferred pickup location, and request a written quote before confirming any bookings.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.

I made a one-off donation during covid to blossom seeds. Since then I have received the newsletter that is very thick and postage costs $1.50 each time. I have sent 2-3 emails that I wish to stop receiving these newsletters but there was no response. I don't read the newsletters and it's a waste of resources. Please assist to cease the postage of unwanted hard copy newsletter to my address so I can remove this review.

Blossom Seeds MET does not publish a rate card publicly, so pricing will need to be confirmed directly by phone or enquiry form. Senior transport services in Singapore are typically priced per trip or on a monthly package basis, with rates varying by distance, vehicle type (standard vs wheelchair-accessible), and whether an attendant is included. Ask specifically about: (1) whether there is a minimum fare or booking fee, (2) public holiday or after-hours surcharges, (3) recurring-appointment discounts for weekly dialysis or rehabilitation runs, and (4) any administrative or registration fee. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →
Blossom Seeds MET is listed as a senior transport provider rather than a residential or home-care service, so the live-in versus visit-based framing does not directly apply. The relevant distinction here is between one-off trip bookings and recurring scheduled transport — for example, a fixed weekly slot for dialysis three times a week versus an ad hoc ride to a specialist appointment. When enquiring, confirm the minimum booking lead time, whether the same driver can be assigned for recurring trips (consistency matters for elderly passengers), how far in advance you need to cancel or reschedule without penalty, and whether the service covers both pickup from home and return transport after the appointment.
Blossom Seeds MET does not currently list any regulatory licences on its KakiList profile, so families should ask directly whether drivers hold any relevant certifications — for example, basic first aid, elder-assist training, or Safe Driving for Seniors qualifications — and whether vehicles carry the appropriate commercial passenger insurance and public liability cover. For transport involving wheelchair users, it is also worth confirming that the vehicle is fitted with properly rated restraint systems and that the driver is trained in safe boarding and alighting procedures. Request confirmation of insurance scope in writing before the first trip, particularly if the elderly person is travelling unaccompanied.
If Blossom Seeds MET isn't the right fit, these are other senior transport providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
