I had my dental consultation today and it was a very good experience. The dentist was professional and took the time to explain my treatment options clearly. The clinic environment was clean and well-organized. Thank you to the team, especially Dr. Lynette Ng, Jenny, Bernice, and Sophie, for the excellent service and warm care. Highly recommended!
I visited Dr. Calvin today to fix a filling that had fallen out, and I am very pleased with the result. The new filling feels solid and comfortable, and the work was done very carefully. What I truly appreciate is that Dr. Calvin did not stop there, he took the time to thoroughly check my other teeth and identified another cavity that needed attention. I am very grateful for his professionalism and sense of responsibility. I have already scheduled my next appointment for treatment next week. Highly recommended Dr Calvin for anyone looking for a dentist who is skilled, attentive, and trustworthy.
Dr Lynette Ng (founder of the Dental Studio SG) Is an outstanding Dentist. I’ve had a tooth which has been out of alignment since I was about 10 years old and every Dentist I’ve ever seen explained a hugely complicated and expensive approach to dealing with it. Dr Ng came up with a simple effective approach which was cost-effective and has literally changed my smile overnight. My wife has always been a fan now I am too. One of the more impressive aspects of practice is their use of technology. Dr Ng clearly has a profound understanding of dentistry, but has used technology to great advantage in the right way, and not for its own sake. A good example is her ability to make up temporary crowns in house, so that you don’t walk away with a gaping hole in your mouth. Another great example is the way they can scan your mouth very accurately in order to give you a mock up of what you might look like after the process. All in all and outstanding practice and an outstanding practitioner. Thank you!
Had a great experience with Dr Yang. He was very detailed in explaining the procedures that i need to take and give me some advises. Not to mention the counter staff Yan Yan for being so friendly and accomodating, especially when i had to book the appointment last minute at their closing time, the staffs and Dr Yang even stayed up late for 2 hours just for my appointment. Root canal treatment and filling isnt an easy job but they did a great job . A big thanks to the team of the Dental studio! Will definitely come here again. Special thanks to Yan Yan, Dr Yang & staff who assisted.
Had the best experience here at The Dental Studio. It’s my first time going to a dental clinic in Singapore after moving, and their services did not disappoint. Maria, the receptionist, assisted in creating my record at the clinic and made the whole process very smooth. The front desk was also diligent in sending in reminders prior to my appointment in case I require any rescheduling as I mentioned I might be away on travels. I got assigned to Dr Calvin Leong, who was very thorough in explaining the procedures I wanted to do and in recommending the prime choices to best address my concerns. He was also transparent about some risks if I wanted to go through, even offering some alternatives in case I wasn’t too satisfied with the final results. I have long since struggled with fluorosis on my teeth - and his Zoom Whitening and ICON Infiltration fixed all my problems! Dr Calvin was very accommodating and made sure throughout the whole procedure if I was comfortable or feeling any pain at all. Overall, I was really pleased with how my teeth turned out - I’d be back here again for regular cleanings now!

Braces Dental Studio has not published a specific per-session rate on this listing, and fees will vary depending on the treatment — a routine consultation will sit at a different price point from orthodontic assessment, dental scaling, or a restorative procedure. As a mid-range ($$) Orchard Road clinic, you should expect consultation fees broadly in line with central Singapore dental practices. It is worth asking when you book whether the initial consultation is charged separately or absorbed into the treatment quote. Common add-ons to budget for include diagnostic X-rays, study models or digital scans for orthodontic cases, and any follow-up appointments. Confirm the full fee schedule in writing before committing to a treatment plan. See the full dental cost guide for Singapore →
For most dental treatments — including orthodontics, scaling and polishing, and restorative work — no formal GP referral is required. You can book directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form. For orthodontic cases specifically, the first appointment typically involves a clinical examination, photographs, and diagnostic X-rays or a digital scan so the dentist can assess the bite, spacing, and jaw alignment before recommending a treatment option (traditional braces, ceramic braces, or clear aligners). If you hold a private integrated shield plan or Medisave-approved dental insurance, check your policy's pre-authorisation requirements before attending, as some insurers require a referral letter for claims above a certain threshold. Complex cases referred from a polyclinic or specialist may also come with existing records that help streamline the assessment.
All dentists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) — the statutory body under the Ministry of Health. Registration is publicly verifiable on the SDC's online register using the dentist's name or registration number. Specialists in orthodontics hold an additional specialist qualification and appear on the SDC's specialist register, which is a meaningful distinction if you are seeking comprehensive orthodontic treatment rather than a general dentist offering minor alignment work. Braces Dental Studio's specific practitioners are not listed in this KakiList entry, so it is advisable to ask for the treating dentist's name and SDC registration number at or before your first appointment, and to verify it on the SDC register. Confirm the practitioner's credentials before committing to a treatment plan.
