About Bright Smile Dental Surgery

About Bright Smile Dental Surgery

Bright Smile Dental Surgery is a dental practice located at Blk 18 Jln Membina, #01-05, serving patients across Singapore. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channel. New patients typically begin with a first consultation, during which the dentist reviews dental history, takes any necessary X-rays, and discusses the presenting concern or routine check-up goals. From there, a treatment plan is proposed covering recommended procedures, expected visits, and estimated costs. Cancellation and rescheduling policies are worth confirming at the time of booking, particularly for longer appointments such as scaling and polishing, fillings, or extractions. Patients using Medisave or corporate dental benefits should check eligibility with the clinic before the visit, as claimable procedures and annual caps vary.

To make an appointment, contact Bright Smile Dental Surgery by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing, confirm your preferred time slot and the nature of your visit, and ask about any new-patient documentation to bring along.

I want to give a huge thank you to Dr. Janice Soh! She has been absolutely amazing, patient, and professional throughout my treatment. I went in with a cracked tooth, and she gave me really insightful advice on how to handle it. The procedure itself was flawless and she showed so much compassion. If you’re looking for a dependable dentist, I highly recommend her!

Dr Chong is the best dentist I have visited in my life. He is both assuring and patient. He ensures all my questions are answered in detail. He is also very gentle and I feel a lot less pain than I expected. I will be recommending my family members to Dr Chong.

Dr Chong is an assuring, patient and non-judgemental healthcare professional. He takes time to educate the patient and explain the steps of the procedure. Even though I’ve moved houses, Bright Smile will still be one of the few dental clinics I go to.

receptionist was condescending and rude in my opinion. listed down the prices and acted like i couldn’t afford the surgery? Is this the customer service standard? disappointing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Bright Smile Dental Surgery charge per session?

Dental fees in Singapore vary by procedure rather than a flat per-session rate. A routine consultation typically runs S$20–50 at a polyclinic and S$50–150 at a private dental surgery. Common add-ons include scaling and polishing (S$80–200), tooth fillings (S$80–250 per tooth depending on material), extractions (S$80–300 for simple, S$800–2,000 for surgical wisdom tooth), and root canal treatment (S$800–1,500 per tooth). Crowns and implants carry higher costs and are usually quoted separately after assessment. GST applies on procedures at private clinics. Bright Smile Dental Surgery lists a S$$ pricing tier — contact the clinic directly for procedure-specific quotes before your appointment. See the full Dental cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

No referral is required to visit a private dental surgery in Singapore. You can book directly by phone or through the enquiry form. At your first visit, the dentist will conduct an intake review covering dental and medical history, current medications, and any allergies — certain conditions such as blood-thinning medication, heart conditions, or diabetes can affect treatment planning and anaesthesia choices, so disclose these upfront. If you hold a CHAS card (Community Health Assist Scheme), check whether Bright Smile Dental Surgery is a CHAS-participating clinic, as this affects the subsidies available for basic dental procedures. Patients with complex conditions or unusual symptoms may be referred to a specialist (oral surgeon, periodontist, orthodontist) at the clinic's discretion. A GP referral is not required for dental treatment but can support certain insurance or Medisave claims.

Is the practitioner at Bright Smile Dental Surgery licensed?

Dentists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) under the Dental Registration Act. You can verify any dentist's registration on the SDC's public register at moh.gov.sg/hpp/dentists. Registration confirms the dentist has met the academic and professional requirements to practise and is subject to SDC disciplinary oversight. Specialist dentists — in areas such as orthodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, or endodontics — hold an additional specialist registration and appear on the SDC's specialist register. No regulatory licences were listed for Bright Smile Dental Surgery on KakiList at the time of this listing. Confirm the consulting dentist's full name and SDC registration number with the clinic directly before treatment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
