New patients typically begin with a first consultation and clinical examination, during which the dentist will assess presenting concerns — whether routine scaling and polishing, fillings, extractions, or more complex restorative or orthodontic needs. It is worth confirming the scope of any treatment plan in advance, along with the fee breakdown for each procedure, before proceeding. Patients with specific conditions or anxieties are encouraged to mention these when booking so the clinic can plan the appointment accordingly. Cancellation and rescheduling policies are worth clarifying at the point of contact.
To make an enquiry or book an appointment, reach Bright Smile Dental Surgery by phone or via the contact form on their listing. Confirm current availability and fee schedules directly with the clinic before your visit.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
I want to give a huge thank you to Dr. Janice Soh! She has been absolutely amazing, patient, and professional throughout my treatment. I went in with a cracked tooth, and she gave me really insightful advice on how to handle it. The procedure itself was flawless and she showed so much compassion. If you’re looking for a dependable dentist, I highly recommend her!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WORST SERVICE....IF YOUR SYSTEM HAVE GLITCH THATS YOUR PROBLEM...I AM WAITING THERE AND UNTIL THE END I CHOSE TO LEAVE AND NOT EVEN ONE SORRY OR APOLOGY CAME FROM THEIR MOUTH...SUCH A WORST BEHAVIOUR AND WORST CLINIC
Dr Chong is the best dentist I have visited in my life. He is both assuring and patient. He ensures all my questions are answered in detail. He is also very gentle and I feel a lot less pain than I expected. I will be recommending my family members to Dr Chong.
Dr Chong is an assuring, patient and non-judgemental healthcare professional. He takes time to educate the patient and explain the steps of the procedure. Even though I’ve moved houses, Bright Smile will still be one of the few dental clinics I go to.
receptionist was condescending and rude in my opinion. listed down the prices and acted like i couldn’t afford the surgery? Is this the customer service standard? disappointing.

Specific fee schedules were not available at the time of this listing, so it is best to contact the clinic directly for a quote. As a general reference, dental consultations in Singapore typically run S$50–100, scaling and polishing S$80–150, fillings S$80–250 depending on material and size, extractions S$100–400, and more complex procedures such as root canal treatment or crowns S$800–2,500+. GST applies on dental procedures at GST-registered clinics. Ask specifically whether CHAS, MediSave (for eligible surgical procedures), or company dental benefits are accepted, as these can materially reduce out-of-pocket costs. Package pricing for recurring treatments such as orthodontics (braces or aligners) is typically quoted as a lump sum after an assessment consultation. Confirm what is included — X-rays, retainers, review visits — versus billed separately before committing. See the full dental cost guide for Singapore →
No referral is required to book a standard dental appointment at a general dental surgery. For a first visit, the clinic will typically conduct a clinical examination, take X-rays where indicated, and discuss any treatment plan and associated costs before proceeding. It is helpful to bring details of any existing dental work, current medications, or known allergies, as these can affect treatment options or material choices. If you have a specific concern — dental anxiety, a complex restorative history, or a medical condition such as a blood-thinning medication or jaw disorder — mention it when booking so the dentist can allocate appropriate time. For specialist-level work such as implants, oral surgery, or orthodontics, a general dentist may refer you to a specialist on the Singapore Dental Council specialist register; this is standard practice rather than a limitation of the clinic. For insurance claims under an employer dental plan or Medisave (applicable for surgical extractions and certain oral surgeries under the Medisave-approved list), confirm the clinic's billing process at the point of booking.
Dental clinics in Singapore are regulated by the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) under the Dental Registration Act. Every practising dentist must hold a valid SDC registration, which is publicly verifiable on the SDC online register at sdc.gov.sg. Dental clinics as premises are licensed by the Ministry of Health. No regulatory licences were listed for this provider at the time of the KakiList entry, so it is advisable to confirm the consulting dentist's SDC registration number directly with the clinic before your appointment. Bright Smile Dental Surgery (Buangkok MRT) is verified by KakiList, meaning a real person confirmed operating details and contact channels. It holds a 4.7/5 rating across 87 Google reviews, a moderate sample that suggests generally positive patient experience. ACRA registration was not confirmed at the time of this listing. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the Singapore Dental Council's public register before treatment.
