When reaching out, it helps to share your dog's size, breed, and temperament upfront, as these factors influence which training programme is most appropriate. Bring along your pet's vaccination records, as proof of up-to-date jabs is standard practice for group or facility-based sessions. Ask whether a trial visit or introductory session is available so your dog can acclimatise to the environment and the trainer can assess your pet's baseline behaviour. Clarify whether sessions are conducted at the Dynasty Garden location, at your home, or at another venue islandwide, and discuss whether a recurring training schedule suits your goals better than a standalone package.
To get started, reach out to Bugle's K-9 Training Skool LLP via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form on their listing. Have your dog's breed, age, vaccination status, and any specific behavioural concerns ready — this allows the trainer to recommend the right programme and confirm scheduling.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
As our dog is a retired police K9 dog, we initially seeked out a trainer with the sole purpose of getting the mandatory obedience cert. We thought that the sessions would just be about learning commands. However, Su Lin helped us in sooo many more ways than that! I like that she helped us understand our dog’s behaviours, advocate for the dog’s happiness and safety, and tailored each session to what our dog specifically needed with solutions that might work for our space and lifestyle. Su Lin is not one to sugar coat, but she is also very encouraging! She proves that positive reinforcement not only works for dogs but for humans too haha. And most importantly, our dog has improved so much already in a short amount of time! Even tho we’ve gotten our cert already, we are keen to continue working with her ☺️
We had such a great experience with Su Lin! She was super helpful in teaching us how to use positive reinforcement to train our puppy, Kai, especially to reduce his attention-seeking behaviour, which she quickly noticed. As an info junkie who’s done plenty of online research, this was something I’d completely overlooked — but Su Lin picked it up right away, and it’s made such a big difference. As first-time pawrents, we really appreciated her tips since we had zero experience. Kai responded so well, and it was really reassuring to know we’re on the right track. Even after lessons concluded, she’d offer helpful tips and videos. Su Lin is patient, encouraging and always happy to answer our questions. She was also really understanding when we mentioned our furkid’s clinginess to one pawrent. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, knowledgeable trainer! 🐾
I had Su Lin train my 2 dogs with behaviors issues especially my older one (Kimi) who barks a lot (at guests who come visit) and can’t go on proper walks. After only 3 sessions of corrective measures, I have seen huge improvement. Kimi is more calmer now and barks less, walks better instead of pulling. I am so happy with the training! Su also took effort to explain to my family members so that we r consistent in the training. Thanks again Su!
We love Kim! We recently rescued a dog from Korea - the poor thing was so anxious and wary (understandably so). She was very difficult on walks and would just hide at home. Kim was wonderful in helping her warm up to us. Over the course of just 3 sessions of Kim’s training, tips, and tricks, she became so much more comfortable and comfortable in our care. We couldn’t be happier with the progress.
Su Lin has been absolutely wonderful with my two small dogs – a Maltese and a Yorkshire Terrier – and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. From the very first basic obedience session, Su Lin’s patience stood out. She took time to understand each dog’s temperament and adjusted the pace so that both of them could succeed without ever feeling overwhelmed or stressed. Her calm, positive reinforcement approach made a huge difference – instead of forcing them through drills, she used rewards and clear communication to keep them engaged and eager to learn. What I really appreciated was how encouraging she was, not just with my dogs but with me as an owner. She explained the “why” behind every exercise, demonstrated each step clearly, and then guided me through practising it so I could continue training confidently at home. Even when we struggled with certain behaviours, she never made us feel judged; instead, she broke things down into manageable steps and celebrated every small improvement. Over the course of the basic obedience programme, I’ve seen noticeable changes: better focus, improved leash manners, and a much calmer response to everyday situations. Just as importantly, Su Lin has helped strengthen my bond with both dogs by teaching me how to communicate with them more effectively in a way that’s respectful and kind. If you’re looking for a trainer who truly cares about both dogs and owners, and who believes in a positive, science‑based and compassionate approach, I would highly recommend Su Lin and K9 Kampong.

Bugle's K-9 Training Skool LLP is priced in the mid-range tier ($$), but exact fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the provider. In the Singapore market, dog obedience training sessions typically run from around S$80 to S$200 per session for private instruction, with group classes generally being more affordable. Package deals covering multiple sessions often work out at a lower per-session rate than booking individually. When enquiring, ask about any add-on costs such as training equipment, transport for islandwide visits, or supplementary materials. Confirm whether the quoted price covers a fixed number of sessions or is open-ended based on your dog's progress. See the full Pet Training cost guide for Singapore →
For dogs attending training sessions — particularly in group settings — providers in Singapore typically require proof of core vaccinations including DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and rabies. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is also commonly requested for any setting where dogs interact closely with one another. Vaccinations are generally expected to have been administered within the past 12 months. You will normally need to present a valid vaccination certificate from your vet at or before the first session. If your dog's jabs are due for renewal, schedule a vet visit ahead of time to avoid delays. Contact Bugle's K-9 Training Skool LLP directly to confirm their specific vaccination requirements before booking.
Bugle's K-9 Training Skool LLP is registered with ACRA and has been verified by KakiList, confirming that operating details and contact channels are genuine. For pet training providers in Singapore, AVS (Animal and Veterinary Service) licensing is primarily required for boarding and grooming facilities rather than for training services specifically, so the absence of a listed AVS licence is not unusual for a training-focused operation. That said, it is reasonable to ask the provider directly whether they carry public liability insurance covering incidents involving pets during sessions, and what their protocol is should a dog be injured or fall unwell in their care. Visit the facility or training venue and confirm these details before your first drop-off or session.
