About "Bukit Timah Saddle Club"

Bukit Timah Saddle Club is a Singapore-based sports school offering equestrian programmes, serving families islandwide from its premises at 1 Turf Club Avenue, Singapore 738078. The club holds KakiList verified status, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though exact session fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly.

Families considering equestrian lessons for their child should begin by enquiring about the appropriate level — whether complete beginner, returning rider, or a student preparing for graded examinations — and which syllabus or progression framework the club follows. It is worth asking whether lessons are conducted in a group format or offered on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both pacing and cost. Prospective riders should also clarify term commitment expectations, session frequency, and what equipment or attire is required before the first lesson. Parents can reach the club via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to discuss scheduling and availability.

To get started, contact Bukit Timah Saddle Club directly via WhatsApp or phone to ask about current availability, the entry level suitable for your child, and session fees before committing to a term.

Me and my family have been riding here for under a year. They have amazing horses that are well looked after. There are a number of very good instructors that one can chose from. The club has a great community feel and serves riders from beginners to competing and advanced. We have seen much improvement in the facilities both for the horses and the riders, there are also clean showers and clean toilets so changing before or after school/work is easy.

I've been riding at BTSC for just over a year, and it has truly been the best riding experience I've had compared to other clubs and riding centres. The ponies and horses are exceptionally well cared for, and the arenas and stables are clean and tidy. The grooms, staff, and instructors are not only professional but also warm, friendly, and always willing to help. Even though I'm already a member at another club, I couldn't resist signing up for membership at BTSC. While it doesn't offer typical club facilities like a restaurant, swimming pool, or gym, what truly sets BTSC apart is the outstanding quality of teaching and the supportive community of riders. Here, mutual respect among riders prevails, regardless of their level of experience. BTSC feels like a second home to me—after my office! I look forward to many more years of riding and being part of this wonderful community.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Bukit Timah Saddle Club" charge per session?

Bukit Timah Saddle Club's exact session fees are not publicly listed, so you will need to enquire directly for current pricing. In the Singapore equestrian and specialist sports school market, group lessons typically range from S$60–S$150 per session depending on group size, duration, and the level of instruction. One-to-one tuition is usually priced higher. Some providers bundle fees into monthly or termly packages rather than charging per session, and there may be separate charges for equipment hire, riding attire, or graded assessment fees. Ask whether a trial or introductory session is available before committing to a full term, and confirm whether any materials or membership fees apply. Sibling or multi-session package discounts are worth asking about as well. See the full Sport and Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing?

It is reasonable to ask Bukit Timah Saddle Club whether a trial or introductory lesson is available before signing up for a full term. A trial session allows you to assess whether the teaching style suits your child's temperament and learning pace, whether the group level is appropriately matched, and whether your child takes to the activity with genuine enthusiasm — all important before committing to ongoing fees. During or after the trial, observe how the instructor manages the group, how feedback is delivered, and whether safety protocols are clearly communicated. Equestrian lessons involve animals, so how the instructor introduces children to the horses and manages ground behaviour is a useful indicator of overall programme quality. Contact the club via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about trial session availability and whether a fee applies.

What are the instructors' credentials at "Bukit Timah Saddle Club"?

Instructor credentials are not listed in the available provider data for Bukit Timah Saddle Club. For equestrian instruction, relevant qualifications to ask about include certifications from recognised bodies such as the British Horse Society (BHS), the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS), or the Singapore Equestrian Federation. Years of teaching experience, any competitive background, and whether instructors hold current first-aid certification are also worth confirming. You should also ask whether instructors hold any child safeguarding training, particularly as lessons involve close interaction with young riders and large animals. Contact Bukit Timah Saddle Club directly to ask about the qualifications and experience of the instructors who would be teaching your child before committing to a term.
