About CareHub Medical Clinic Marine Terrace
CareHub Medical Clinic Marine Terrace is a GP clinic located at Blk 13 Marine Terrace, #01-176, Singapore 440013. The clinic is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channel. It holds a 5/5 rating across 19 Google reviews, though this is a small sample and should be treated as directional only. No ACRA registration or MOH Healthcare Services Licence has been confirmed in the listing data at this time.
For a first visit, patients typically present with an acute complaint or seek a routine consultation. The GP will take a history, carry out an examination, and advise on investigations, prescriptions, or referrals as appropriate. Where a specialist referral is needed, the clinic can issue a referral letter to a polyclinic or public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic, which may attract subsidised rates for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents. Patients intending to use MediSave or an Integrated Shield Plan should confirm at registration whether the clinic is accredited to process these claims.
To book an appointment or enquire about consultation fees and opening hours, contact CareHub Medical Clinic Marine Terrace directly by phone. Listing data is incomplete — contact CareHub Medical Clinic Marine Terrace directly to confirm details.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
This review for Dr. Sean Lai and his clinic, including his super friendly receptionist, is long overdue. He has a great bedside manner, listens patiently to my mother’s concerns, and goes out of his way to pack her medications for her so she won’t forget to take them. Can’t recommend him enough!
Dr Sean Lai is attentive and thorough with check. He’s easy to communicate with. I feel comfortable with this encounter and in a very clean and comfortable space inside clinic. A neighbour told me that his skill in blood withdrawal is superb. Since he’s attending to this blood take personally, I am up to it…next week after I have recovered from illness….Great experience, thank you Dr Lai
Dr Sean Lai is kind, caring and most of all, patient. He really takes his time to listen to your concerns and explain his prescription. I recommend his clinic wholeheartedly and would like to express my deep gratitude for all the kindness he and his staff has shown me during my visits. Thank you
Dr Sean Lai is really patient and down to earth. He takes time and listens closely making an assessment of the condition. He also explains clearly the medication he will be prescribing. When asked about the recent Influenza A outbreak, he clearly explained why the flu my daughter is having is not Influenza A and what are the symptoms to look out for when we are back home. The counter staff is really polite and friendly too! The whole clinic is also bright and clean. Thank you for the good experience.
Dr Lai is a very courteous, polite and skillful doctor. I suffered a big toe injury a month ago and sought his consultation. He took pains to do my toe dressing, and assure me that it will definitely recover but it will take time. Now, almost a month after injury and I am on the road to a speedy recovery. His charges are also reasonable. Thank you, Dr Lai

GP consultation fees at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with additional charges for investigations such as a blood panel (S$60–200), throat or wound swab, or X-ray referral. Prescriptions are billed separately. GST applies on private medical services. For patients on the Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS), Pioneer Generation, or Merdeka Generation subsidies, the out-of-pocket cost at participating GP clinics can be substantially lower — confirm with the clinic whether it accepts CHAS cards before your visit. MediSave can also be used under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders, subject to the S$500–700 annual withdrawal limits. Every legitimate GP clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must be listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — you can search by the doctor's name to confirm their registration status and any disciplinary history. No MOH licence or SMC registration has been confirmed in the current listing data for this clinic. We recommend verifying both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC entry directly before booking. Neither alone is sufficient — both are required for a legitimately operating clinic.
For outpatient GP visits, MediSave can be used under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed chronic conditions — hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, stroke, asthma, COPD, and others — up to S$500 per year (or S$700 where both MediSave 500 and CDMP apply). Standard acute GP consultations are generally not MediSave-claimable. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life primarily cover inpatient and day-surgery costs rather than outpatient GP visits, though some riders include outpatient benefits — check your policy schedule. Confirm at registration whether the clinic is set up to process CHAS, CDMP MediSave, or any relevant subsidy scheme, and ask for an itemised receipt for any insurance reimbursement claim you intend to submit.
