About Central 24-HR Clinic Bedok
Central 24-HR Clinic Bedok is a general practice and 24-hour clinic located at 219 Bedok Central, serving residents in the Bedok area and accessible to patients from across Singapore. The clinic has been verified by KakiList for operating details and contact channels. It holds a 2.7/5 rating across 1,080 Google reviews — a robust sample that reflects a consistent pattern of patient feedback and warrants careful consideration before booking.
Patients can walk in directly without a referral for general consultations, acute illness, and after-hours care; this is a private GP setting, so fees are self-pay at typical private clinic rates of S$25–60 for a standard consultation, with investigations such as blood panels, swabs, and X-rays billed separately. For patients managing chronic conditions, the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$500–700 per year for qualifying diagnoses including hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders. Patients with Integrated Shield Plans should confirm whether outpatient GP visits are claimable under their specific plan and rider terms.
To proceed, contact the clinic directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm current operating hours and any queue or appointment system before making your way to Bedok Central.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Ms KW and Dr Darren were on duty when I came by at 8.30pm on Saturday. They were very kind, polite, helpful, and one thing for sure: they make me feel less guilty about falling sick again. Ms KW was seen talking to an elderly patient with lots of care and patience at the counter registration too. I had to ask for her name twice (she rejected the first time 😂) as i told her i hope to write a positive review on their service, because i genuinely think what i read on google review before coming to the clinic does not do any justice to the care and service they rendered to us. Thank you very much for working hard on a weekend!
AVOID THIS CLINIC AT ALL COST!. If there is negative 5 star, I will not hesitate to vote for that! First the attitude of staff is bad and then It says 24 hour clinic. But I waited from 5.30pm to 6.20pm. When first arrived at 5.30 I checked with the registration staff is there any doctor on duty? She said “oh the doctor is on the way, there is a traffic jam.” Ok I proceed with registration. After 40 mins of waiting , I checked with the staff again, then she replied: oh our clinic from 5.30pm to 6.30pm is changing shift. THEN WHY DONT’ YOU TELL ME IN THE FIRST PLACE?! SO I COULD GO TO ANOTHER CLINIC! I’ve wasted 40mins and longer with fever and cough!
Totally disappointed with the poor service and inexperience of the clinic doctor and staff. Visited the Clinic on 28 December 2025 for UTI. Had to tell the staff to do a dipstick test while waiting for the doctor to call me. Doctor subsequently ordered a FEME Test. Had to call the clinic twice to check if the result is out. When i finally went back to the clinic for the result, I requested the doctor to upload the result into my Health Hub Registry. He does not even know if the clinic or the lab is supposed to do the uploading and said he will check with the staff. Again had to call the clinic twice after that but the staff are equally clueless as to who is doing the uploading. They said they will check and get back to me, but they never did. Todate the lab result is still not uploaded yet! Just want to add that the 1st doctor was so grouchy looking. The 2nd one was more friendly but young and inexperienced. Note to clinic - I have already written to your enquiries email address this morning
I had a disappointing experience with the doctor . I came in because I was genuinely in pain, but the doctor seemed to doubt my condition and implied that I was only there to get an MC. It felt dismissive and uncomfortable, especially when you’re seeking help for a real health concern. I hope the clinic can be more empathetic toward patients in the future.
My visit to the clinic was marred by an interaction with Dr. Wu Basil that, while not calling into question his medical expertise, was notably deficient in bedside manner. The consultation began with an abrupt and impersonal phrase ("why are you here for" as if I am here for Mc malingering which i did not take at all ) that felt dismissive, rather than a more patient-centered opening. This choice of wording was perceived as tactless and failed to convey the empathy or compassion expected during a medical consultation. Given that a clinic visit inherently indicates a health concern, the approach created an unwelcoming and unnecessarily negative patient experience. As a result, I do not plan to return to this clinic.Do note that this review is not personal but rather to let known to other people who wish to visit on their own risk and also for the management to reflect on Dr Basil Wu attitude towards patient. There us no need for a reply from the clinic as all the reply will be from a standard text : we are sorry to hear and so on.As long as you act upon the feedback I am sure future patients with see an improvement.

For a standard GP consultation at a private 24-hour clinic, expect to pay S$25–60 depending on the time of visit — after-hours and overnight consultations typically carry a surcharge above the daytime rate. Investigations billed on top of the consultation fee commonly include a blood panel (S$60–200), throat or nasal swab, urine dipstick, or rapid antigen test. Prescriptions are charged separately. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure or investigation, request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises the consultation fee, investigation costs, and any insurance or MediSave deductions. MediSave can be used under the CDMP for qualifying chronic conditions up to S$500–700 per year. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or SMC doctor registration appears in the provider data currently held by KakiList. Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg. Before booking, search the clinic name on the MOH licensee directory and confirm the consulting doctor's name on the SMC register. Neither licence alone is sufficient — both should be confirmed. The absence of this information in the current listing means you should verify directly with the clinic before attending.
For GP outpatient visits, MediSave can be withdrawn under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — up to S$500 per year for general outpatient chronic condition management and S$700 per year for CDMP-listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, and selected mental health conditions. Standard acute consultations at a GP are generally not MediSave-claimable outside CDMP. Most Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) are structured around hospitalisation and day surgery rather than GP outpatient visits — check your specific plan and rider terms with your insurer before expecting reimbursement for a clinic visit. For any investigation or follow-up procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that splits insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions in advance.
