About Central 24-HR Clinic Clementi

About Central 24-HR Clinic Clementi

Central 24-HR Clinic Clementi is a GP and 24-hour clinic located at 450 Clementi Ave 3, serving the Clementi area and accessible to patients across Singapore. The clinic has been verified by KakiList for operating details and contact channel. It holds a 2.9/5 rating across 789 Google reviews — a robust sample, though the below-average score warrants attention and prospective patients are encouraged to read recent reviews before attending.

As a 24-hour GP clinic, patients can walk in at any hour without an appointment. A first visit typically covers presenting complaint, examination, investigations where indicated (blood panel, urine dipstick, swab), prescription, and a follow-up plan. For chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or lipid disorders, the clinic may participate in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), allowing MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits to apply. Patients holding an Integrated Shield Plan layered on MediShield Life should confirm whether the clinic is on their insurer's panel for cashless claims. Bring your NRIC and relevant insurance or MediSave details.

To confirm whether the clinic accepts your insurer or participates in CHAS or CDMP, contact the clinic directly by phone, WhatsApp, or the enquiry form before attending.

The clinic assistant on duty was horrible. I visited today January 30, 2026 at around 18:30-19:00. She was impatient and kept banging her keyboard, mouse, phone and drawer. On top of that she kept sighing. This is a no-no for a service line staff. What’s more all patients were very patient and polite in our responses to her. This is not the first time that this happens, every-time I come around and she is at the counter she is always so rude to all patients. If someone calling at the clinic phone she will sigh and say “tsk” and throw the phone after answering. If she is not happy on her work better she doesn’t come, it is just free to be nice. Please check on this staff, she has a really bad customer service and really bad attitude. Reminder to go to another 24hr clinic and never to come back for such treatment.

Please don’t go to this clinic. The doctor was unprofessional, uncaring, and only seemed interested in collecting the consultation fee rather than helping the patient. Totally unacceptable experience. My partner was having anxiety in the middle of the night, so we went to the clinic around 4 a.m. During registration, the staff asked for the reason for seeing the doctor. I explained that my partner was experiencing sleeping difficulties and anxiety. After we had explained to the doctor (I don’t think I should even address him as a doctor) of my partner’s condition and her previous experience of having the same issue, we then asked whether he could prescribe her lorazepam (sleeping pills) since she had the same issue before and it helped with her condition. The doctor told us he didn’t have any sleeping pills and instead offered to prescribe painkillers that cause drowsiness. We told the doctor it’s not going to help with her anxiety, but he insisted on prescribing her that medication. We rejected him twice, and he said, “Oh, we can’t cancel the consultation once it’s started.” We were shocked by this reply. Just because you do not have medication that is suitable for your patient and want to charge the consultation fee, does that mean you can prescribe medication without even checking your patient’s condition (no blood pressure measurement, no heartbeat check)? More ridiculous reply from him. As my partner told him that she had heart palpitations, instead of checking on her, he asked why she had such an issue. Come on! Aren’t you supposed to help the patient find out the reason, give solutions, and calm the patient down? I was pissed and just told him straight that we wanted to cancel the consultation and leave. His reply was, “Did you tell the staff your condition?” “Why didn’t you ask her whether we have the medication you’re looking for?” I said, “Yes, I told her that my partner is having sleeping difficulty and needs to see a doctor.” I just didn’t reply to his second question because I was shocked by what he just said and couldn’t believe it. Why would you expect a patient to ask the counter staff for medication advice? If you expect the patient to tell the counter staff everything and check with them before coming to see you, we don’t need to consult you anymore and there is no need for your existence.

I visited Central 24 Hour Clinic at 12:00 am after finishing work. The service was very good. Dr. Loh Yoke was kind and professional, and the receptionist Moli was very friendly and helpful. Really appreciated the good service, especially late at night. Thank you!

Had a super bad experience with e following Dr low yoke kin , my daughter had a very bad ear pain at 2.30am we reach the clinic at bc around 3am no one was in the clinic . We needed to wait for 20mins. That’s already 1 thing that pissed me at that wee hour when my daughter was already in pain and tired . After that we entered . He totally ask my daughter the same questions like 3-4 times untill the last part after 20min he said “ I think you guys should go to A&E!!! I snapped and told him are you awake !!! After wasting total 30-40mins at 3am in the morning you finally push us to A&E . After which we went to NUH A&E to be treated and definitely the doctor there went straight to treat my daughter. And even told us likely what was her issue . In less then 20 mins we were on our way home . Please never go to this clinic and see this Dr Low . Very unprofessional. The doctors here are not professional nor empathetic. The other night, a patron at thecoffee shop next door collapsed and was unconscious. I ran over to ask for help from the doctor through the receptionist. She consulted the doctor on duty and told me to call for an ambulance instead. The paramedics arrived 15 minutes and I do not know what happened to the lady. Where is the code of ethics and duty of a doctor?! How can we trust the clinic to look after our health if there is no community spirit or basic ethics?

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Central 24-HR Clinic Clementi charge?

GP consultation fees at a private 24-hour clinic typically run S$25–60 during standard hours, with an after-hours or overnight surcharge that can add S$15–40 on top. Common add-ons include investigations (blood panel S$60–200, urine test S$15–40, swab S$30–80), prescriptions, and follow-up reviews. GST applies on private medical services. For chronic disease follow-ups under the CDMP, MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits may offset part of the bill. Any planned procedure should be quoted with a written financial estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

Is Central 24-HR Clinic Clementi MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. No MOH or SMC licence was recorded for Central 24-HR Clinic Clementi in the current listing data; patients should verify this directly with the clinic or check the MOH online registry before attending. Every practising doctor in Singapore is listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by the consulting doctor's name to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. Confirming both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC entry is advisable before any consultation, particularly for first-time patients.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Central 24-HR Clinic Clementi?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays subject to deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For GP-level outpatient visits, IP coverage is more limited — confirm whether the clinic is on your insurer's panel for cashless or reimbursement claims before attending. MediSave can be used for outpatient consultations under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits (S$500/year general outpatient, S$700/year for CDMP-listed chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, stroke, and selected mental health conditions). Confirm CDMP participation with the clinic directly. For any planned procedure, request a financial counselling session and a written itemised estimate splitting insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. This is the most effective way to avoid unexpected bills.
