About Central 24-HR Clinic Jurong West

About Central 24-HR Clinic Jurong West

Central 24-HR Clinic Jurong West is a general practice and 24-hour clinic located at 492 Jurong West Street 41, serving residents in Jurong West and the broader west side of Singapore. The clinic is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 3.4 out of 5 rating across 838 Google reviews — a robust sample that reflects a wide range of patient experiences. No regulatory licences are on file with KakiList, and the clinic has not been cross-checked against the ACRA business registry; patients are encouraged to confirm MOH and SMC credentials directly before booking.

A visit to a 24-hour GP clinic typically begins with walk-in registration — no referral is needed, though holding a polyclinic or GP referral letter can reduce costs if you are subsequently referred to a public hospital specialist. The consulting doctor will take a history, examine you, and determine whether the condition can be managed in-clinic (prescription, MC, wound dressing) or requires onward investigation or hospital referral. For chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or lipid disorders, the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$700 per year for outpatient treatment at CDMP-enrolled clinics — ask the clinic directly whether it participates. Integrated Shield Plan holders should check whether the GP visit is claimable under their plan's outpatient rider.

To arrange a consultation, contact Central 24-HR Clinic Jurong West via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form. As a 24-hour clinic, walk-ins are accepted at any hour, though calling ahead during peak periods can help gauge waiting times.

Attended by the worst doctor ever, impatient and rude. DO NOT RECOMMEND if I could I would have given a 0 star review Attended by Dr Michael Lee 6th Jan 2026 8pm Tested COVID positive and was feeling really unwell so went to get some medication. Upon enterong to register, the nurses takes my temperature and shown not having a fever at the time. Upon being called, entered the doctor's room, the doctor was being impatient and rude. I told him I tested COVID positive and he just when "where where where" I asked him are U referring to the test kit. I said I didn't bring but I snap photo. After reviewing the photo , he commented "so faint only" then I told him the line was more solid as the time passes but I didn't snap a photo. Next he just ask me what symptoms I told him fever, flu, cough, sore throat. Immediately he told me "no fever what, what fever" I said yesterday I was having a fever of 38degree. Next he took out the stethoscope and starting putting it on me and he repeatedly says "breathe breathe breathe" again very impatiently. Then check my throat. After he just said he will give me medication, and said "no fever but I give you medicine for fever since you say you fever" and also said "MC need? 2 days " I feel like this is no way to treat any patient at all. Very unprofessional and no way a doctor should behave. Will submit a case to relevant authorities. Also would consider consult another doctor as I think I'm not being treated properly. Understands he is at this clinic every Tuesday I urge patients not to visit, such unprofessional treatment from a doctor should be reviewed carefully. Lives are at risk at his hands.

Went to this clinic at 7pm, 8.32pm and still waiting currently. Queue is stop at no.16, went to knock at the door and the door was locked. Asked the counter staff (both male & female), and they reluctantly told me that doctor is having "QUICK DINNER" and without informing the patients. There are more than 10 pts waiting and clinic does not have the basic courtesy to inform. When first asked if there is really a PT inside, at first I was told yes, but clearly the counter staff lied.

I spent $189.60 (after blue chas card subsidary) on a consultation that barely lasted two minutes, and the doctor misdiagnosed me, giving me medication that was ineffective. At a different clinic, I was told I actually had influenza and that the first clinic’s medication wouldn’t have helped at all.

Dr Walter is patient and he gave a thorough explanation when asked. Very friendly yet professional at what he does. I’ll come back to him when needed. Thanks!

Is Central 24-HR Clinic Jurong West MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, which also shows their specialist accreditation and any disciplinary history. No licence details are currently on file with KakiList for Central 24-HR Clinic Jurong West, so patients should verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly before booking. For a 24-hour GP clinic, the key checks are: (1) the clinic premises licence under the Healthcare Services Act, and (2) the named doctor's current SMC registration. Neither alone is sufficient — both should be confirmed. Verify the doctor's name on the SMC public register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Central 24-HR Clinic Jurong West?

MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment at CDMP-enrolled clinics, covering conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, stroke, COPD, and selected mental health conditions — the withdrawal limit is up to S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme. General outpatient MediSave (non-CDMP) is capped at S$500 per year. Confirm with the clinic whether it is enrolled in CDMP before your visit, as not all GP clinics participate. Integrated Shield Plan (IP) holders should check whether their plan's outpatient rider covers GP consultations and what the co-payment terms are. For straightforward GP visits, most patients pay out of pocket given the relatively low per-visit cost and deductible thresholds. For any investigation or procedure, request a financial counselling session and an itemised estimate in writing before proceeding. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
