Would give 0 star if possible, AVOID AT ALL COSTS, GO A&E better. Went there at 4am with a severe eye pain, was told that consultation alone costs $150. The staff then told me if serious eye issues, they will refer me to A&E. I then went in, consulted the doctor for like 1-2 minutes, doctor was UNABLE to provide a diagnosis and solution, and referred me to A&E. This was all within 5 minutes btw, i ‘consulted’ the doctor for max 5-10 minutes, no diagnosis and no solution. When I came out, I was shocked to receive a $163 bill, doctor didnt provide me with ANY DIAGNOSIS OR SOLUTION, he didnt even provide me with eye drops to sooth the pain. And still charged me $163, NOT EVEN PROVIDING ONE TUBE OF EYE DROP OR RELIEF. All he provided was the referral to A&E, although referral to A&E provides a $50 discount at A&E, I am still paying him $113 for nothing, not any help provided. Then when I kindly tell the staff (I was not angry or shouting or what, feel free to watch the CCTV) that next time please explicitly say to the patient even if no help/diagnosis provided, and JUST a referral is given, the full consultation charge of $163 will still be CHARGED. She got pissed , I spoke to her in a neutral, non-aggressive/firm tone, just wanted the clinic to be clear with patients. TLDR: Go A&E if emergency, similar price, maybe even cheaper for A&E, avoid this clinic, especially at midnight.

I brought my son to Pioneer North clinic yesterday night around 7.30pm as he had a cut on his right thumb. The doctor Zeng Shi Ying check on his wound a few times and said that he will give me referral letter for me to bring my son to A&E . He said my son need to have at least 1-2 stitches. They are unable to do at their clinic. He just did a simple bandage on the wound. Total I had to pay $52.30 after the blue chas subsidy(original price is $65+gst). The clinic staff told me to go to Ng Teng Fong but when I reached there, the nurse said that they only able to treat above 16 years old. My son is 14 hence asked me to go to NUH instead and we went. Waited from 9.04pm to 12am before seeing the doctor. She told us that the wound is not that deep and serious so no need for stitches. Just clean the wound and give some antibiotics. Total $163 and we reached home at 1.30am.I am really puzzled and doubtful on the professionalism of the doctor at Pioneer North clinic . Because of his words, made us travel to and fro, wasted so much time, energy and money on the unnecessary trip which can just be done at the clinic instead. This is my 1st and last time going to this clinic. Really unprofessional and lack of experience doctor.

Pushy with the medications when I insisted on not having them at the counter after consultation was done. Expensive consultation fee, Dr Zhang Bei isnt really the professional doctor she claims to be too, for she kept exaggerating my conditions just to get me on expensive medications. Don't fall for their pushy acts...

The doctor was kind. However, the staff on the other hand were not, they were pushy, impatient, rude and all over the place while one of them used phrases such as "simi tai chi" on multiple occasions with multiple people, first visit, would not come again

Visited at 6.30pm and the staff inside wouldnt open the door. Don't even bother to inform that the clinic is closed until I repeatedly press the bell. Why indicate 24 hours clinic when you are closed at 6.30pm?

Is Central 24-HR Clinic Pioneer North MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. No MOH licence or SMC registration has been confirmed in this listing's data, so patients are strongly advised to verify both directly with the clinic before attending. For 24-hour GP clinics, the consulting doctor's SMC registration is the minimum credential to confirm. If you are referred onward to a specialist, ask for the specialist's name and check their SMC entry and any Royal College or FAMS fellowship relevant to your condition. Verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Central 24-HR Clinic Pioneer North?

MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions — up to S$700 per year per patient. General outpatient MediSave withdrawal is capped at S$500 per year for non-CDMP conditions. Confirm whether the clinic is a CDMP-accredited provider before assuming MediSave applies to your visit. Integrated Shield Plan (IP) holders should check whether this clinic is on their insurer's panel for outpatient claims, as panel status affects reimbursement rates and whether pre-authorisation is needed. For acute walk-in visits, most private IP riders cover outpatient GP fees subject to the plan's deductible and co-insurance rules — keep your receipts and itemised bills for submission. For any planned procedure or investigation, request a financial counselling session so the clinic can issue an itemised estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket costs in writing before you proceed.
