For a first visit, patients can walk in at any hour or reach the clinic via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form to confirm wait times. A GP consultation typically covers acute illness, minor injuries, prescription renewal, and referral letters for specialist care. For Singapore Citizens and PRs managing chronic conditions — hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, and others — the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) allows MediSave withdrawal of up to S$700 per year for outpatient treatment at registered CDMP providers; confirm whether this clinic participates before assuming MediSave applies. Investigations such as blood panels, urine tests, or rapid diagnostic kits are billed separately from the consultation fee, so ask for an itemised receipt.
To proceed, contact the clinic directly via WhatsApp or phone to confirm current wait times and whether your presenting condition or medication needs can be handled on the same visit. Listing data is incomplete — contact Central 24-HR Clinic Tampines directly to confirm details.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Please avoid this clinic. Very very bad service and Doctor was disappointing and dismissive. I went there for my block nose and sore throat and he didn't even check my throat, then gave me a lot of unnecessary medicine. Paid for $127 for these kind of service is not worth it.
Pro: the service is fast, the explanation is crystal, the price is OK depending on your medication. If you need to go to see a doctor during weekend and anytime. This clinic, I'd like to recommend. I accompany my husband during his swollen feet cause his gout. From the front desk until the doctor service is great! Really helpful for us.
I work as a clinic assistant, and regardless of how difficult a patient may be, patients should never be disrespected or neglected. I visited this clinic on a Sunday at around 10:00 pm and was charged a consultation fee of $95, along with an additional $3 practice fee, despite only receiving oral medication and no injections or procedures. The clinic assistant (a Malay aunty wearing a hijab) was neutral and not rude, which was acceptable. However, my experience with the doctor, Dr Timothy Chua Ming En, was extremely disappointing. I am anaemic and had been feeling giddy for several days. I came to the clinic after blacking out for a few seconds. During the consultation, the doctor repeatedly stated that there was “nothing he could do” except check my blood pressure, and repeatedly asked, “Do you understand?” in a rude and dismissive manner. His tone was unprofessional, and he appeared uninterested, as if he wanted me to leave as quickly as possible. I informed him that I had recently done a blood test and was already on iron supplements. He simply told me to go to the hospital next time, with no reassurance or proper explanation. Overall, the consultation felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially considering the high fees charged. I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience.
Doctor was nice, great and kind. Told me nicely that I might have Influenza but they cant test it since they ran out of swabs. Doctor told me to go and buy and come back she can do for me but the makcik at the counter said dont come back, saying she didnt want me to infect her with it if it was positive and doctor shouldnt have recommended me to come back with the swab kit. When I told her repeatedly doctor say its okay she said "suke hati kau la". You work in a clinic but youre pushing people away? So many reviews about this makcik but no action? How is she still in this job? No wonder clinic had 0 queue but other clinics had long queue.
I had a really bad experience at Tampines Central 24-Hr Clinic (CHAS | GP Clinic). The lady at the counter (Malay makcik) was extremely rude. When I asked her politely to repeat what she said, she replied sarcastically, saying that if she talked louder, I would assume she was scolding me. Before that, I also saw her raising her voice at another patient, which was very unprofessional. Her attitude was completely unacceptable, especially for someone working in healthcare. After reading other reviews, it seems I’m not the only one who had this kind of experience. It’s disappointing that the management hasn’t done anything about it. Please avoid this clinic if you can. Go to A&E or another clinic instead, you’ll likely receive much better service.

GP consultation fees at private 24-hour clinics typically run S$25–60 during standard hours, with an after-hours or overnight surcharge that can add S$10–30 on top — confirm the exact rate before being seen. Investigations are billed separately: a basic blood panel runs S$60–200, a rapid antigen or swab test S$15–50, and a urine test S$10–30. Prescriptions are charged per item. MediSave is generally not usable for routine GP outpatient visits unless the clinic is a registered CDMP provider, in which case up to S$700/year can be withdrawn for listed chronic conditions. GST applies on private medical services. Ask for an itemised receipt and confirm whether your Integrated Shield Plan covers any portion of the visit. No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or SMC registration details are currently listed for Central 24-HR Clinic Tampines. Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. Given that neither licence is confirmed in this listing, patients are strongly advised to verify both the clinic licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly before proceeding. The absence of these details in the listing does not necessarily mean the clinic is unlicensed, but it does mean you should confirm independently.
For routine GP visits, MediSave withdrawal is generally not permitted unless the clinic is registered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for an eligible condition such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, or COPD. Confirm CDMP participation with the clinic before assuming MediSave applies to your visit. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life typically cover inpatient and day-surgery costs but rarely cover outpatient GP consultations without a specific outpatient rider. For any planned procedure or specialist referral arising from this visit, request a written financial counselling estimate that splits insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding — skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
